My preference of sub had (till this one) always been men about 50. There is no way I'd have touched one with that come on line with a 50 ft pole. After reading that entry, I looked over at my sub and said.. "and he wonders why he can't find anyone. Maybe if he checked that ego at the door....." (the one about being available for the RIGHT Domme.. if you didn't figure it out yourself.) I don't expect a sub to be a doormat, nor do I expect slobbering respect from a stranger. I do however expect someone to bother to get to know me before they start asking if I'm woman enough to handle them. If that is one of the first things out of their mouths, I'd roll my eyes and move on. You just proved by treating the Domme as an object rather than a person to get to know, that you're not worthy of time. If you guys put more time into getting to KNOW someone, and less time posturing about how hard it would be to deal with you, you'd do a lot better finding someone.

Scooter, A lot of people say that going pro is just like earning money from any other talent or skill a person may have. They liken it to massage therapy or doing arts & crafts for sale. I liken it more to a musician or an artist that goes pro. You lose all your creative freedom, and your craft becomes more about pleasing others than pleasing yourself. Those of us who purchase their wares, however, are exceedingly grateful to them for bending and molding their art to suit our tastes. Just my humble opinion. Paul

As for someone's commet about it being like any other profession but some loose their creativity, I can see how that would happen. It'd prolly make you jaded to a dominant if you wanted to take one personally because in work you see the stuff all the time so there's no wonder left.
