You want a sub to churn butter?  cook on a wood stove?  get water from the well

What about plucking the feathers off fresh chickens, or scrapping the scales off the catfish.

we old subs know how to do that stuff too.

If you were truly an old sub you would know how to fix my chain mail armor and fix my viking ship.

Perhaps you could discribe what an old fashioned sub is?

I think the OP is referring to WWII underwater sea vessels minus the  'periscope'.

They're sitting in an old-fashioned house, with an old-fashioned fence and an old-fashioned millionaire.

I can't wait to see the description of an "old fashioned" sub
I haven't seen one here; (maybe they live on Walton mountain)

Thy're all getting ready to make millions off their own version of the Secret Ya Ya Sisterhood:

The secret "ow Ow!" Sisterhood.

They just need to find the right doms to do the damn editing after they write the manuscript.

Be well,

above each individual post on the upper right hand corner are little clickers....they read "reply" "quote" and "forward"

To quote..just click the quote button...it will open a new window with that post quoted in it..just go to the end PAST the [/q] symbol and type what you want. You can also delete out the portion you dont need to respond to as well. Just be careful you dont change any of the stuff inside the brackets or it wont "quote" properly.

Be well,

On the bar at the top of each post is 'Reply' and 'Quote'.  If you want to respond to the entire post, click on Quote and then type beneath  it.  If you want to quote only part of a post, click on Reply.  You will then see the cartoon-like balloon thingy, click on that and then copy and paste between the [quotes].  Then type your response below the last

"If you were truly an old sub you would know how to fix my chain mail armor and fix my viking ship."

That's bubble gum for the viking ship and how about old fashioned twist ties for the armor?

Be well,

I'm sorry, did the first line of my post not accurately reflect this thread topic????

So much for levity..........

Edited to add;; Cuz this is such a solemn thread in and of itself anyway.
