Yes I wear my collar 24/7, sometimes it is a chalange and people ask about it, but I have figured out a vanilla ish answer that most folks can deal with. I tell people it represents a promise for complete honesty between a very close friend and myself. I think some people find it a little odd, but seem to accept that. Currently my collar is a silver chain locked through with a simple Master lock. Before this one I had a nickle chain what my skin was eating the coating off of. It is right now tucked in my pocket book, I think it amused my Sir that I wanted to keep that one with me too. My nature is pretty ritualistic and I have dificulty dealing with the lock being opened, even just to check that it still works. Right now I am away from home and at a bodywork seminar that lasts two months. I had permission to not wear the lock, and was told to remove it so that I wouldn't have trouble getting through the security in the airport. Even though this was kind of Sir, not having the lock on was unerving for me and I kept reaching for it at my neck and not finding it. He told me to put the lock back on, I didn't make it half a week, and honestly I feel a lot better with it on. Sometimes I have to explain it to people (like family/relatives/classmates) but I have found with a little creativity people accept it. It means more than a pact of honesty, but it is that as well. And most people, even vanilla people value and treasure honesty just like leather folk. Hope that helps Master Jack's Colorado traveler, Willow
