I often have a difficult time wanting to read someone's post, when they have a long url, and it makes their entire post extend way past my right screen, causing me to have to scroll right to read it.

It tends to discourage me (and I'd bet others) from reading anything posted with such a url.

And if you have such a long url in your sig ... most everything you post will likely not receive as much attention as it otherwise would.

You can get rid of those long unsighly URLs, and still post your link by using "tinyurl"

Tal and greetings fellow cm's:

I have an issue not seen mentioned before. Why is the time associated with my posts do not match the time of day ? Is it zone related, or do I have to make an adjustment somewhere ? What's happening is...the time of post is like 3+ hours ahead of the time of day (in my time zone...EST)

Another option would be to hotlink a word (or a few) in the post and have the URL hidden.
