When I was new... I asked for help learning before I moved to considering owning someone. Had he asked for information on HOW to handle a slave, or where to go to learn about the lifestyle and such, then things might have been different.  However all he asked was how to find a slave.  There is no learning curve there.
If you want to learn, ask things that wil help you grow in the lfiestyle, and will help you in your skills.  THEN and only then, once you know a bit more about what you want or like, then you look to own.  AS Someone has said here before, you cannot master someone else until you have mastered yourself. (not sure where I heard that, but I know it was here)

it seems OP wants everyone to do the work for him while he'll reap the rewards in the end. besides does anyone know what he's looking for in a slave?  has he stated if this will be a ltr or live-in? unless he's looking for minor UM to fall from the sky, he's getting no help from me.

I can honestly say I was NEVER that stupidy dangerous... so NO I was NEVER in that same place. Seriously though, you're 19...why should young women be ready to serve and obey you? I'm not saying you don't already have 12 years of bdsm experience under your belt, but if so, you need to demonstrate it somehow. There is no man of any age who can have your profile and expect to get any positive response. Do some reading, talk to people, go to real life groups, do anything to educate yourself about what mastery and slavery are about. Also, I would start out just trying to find someone you like and are attracted to to dabble in power exchange with.

tml, have you made this your private crusade? Let the OP say something with 4 pages worth of banter, he has been strangely quiet.
If he needs defending, let him come on and defend himself. IF he is apreciating some of whats being said, let him say so.  Hoever, until he comes back and says something somehow, I dont see where this thread is going to get. We dont know what he wants, becasue he hasnt said much

I've made a few assassine posts, written a few things where I have later gone back and said to myself "What the hell was I thinking? I should have thought that one threw a lot better!" It was a bit of a hard pill to swallow when I got bitched slapped around this message board or another one. Unfortanely we have to make complete asses out of ourselves sometimes to learn anything. Rather than look at it is an insult or failure, I tried to look at it as an oppurtunity.

But thats just me. I come from 8 years in a buisness where you burn a 30 dollar steak and the chef hurls a saute' pan at you and reminds you of how much of a whore your mother is. Eventually, you stop learning to burn steaks. I dont wish anyone to go threw that and certainly dont want to be that kind of dominant, but I ended up with a pretty thick skin and not too bad of a forte of chef skills. (Though I dont think anyone needs 8 years of hell in the culinary underbelly to deal with the simple truth that people arent very nice on the Internet)

When I started to venture out into the BDSM world, my approach was "This is what I want, this is my goal, this is kind of the relationship I need....and I have absolutely zero idea what I am doing." I still really dont have a complete idea of what I am doing yet, but enough of a grounding to actually consider looking and trying.

So I dont really have any sympathy for him. It would be different if I was sure he didnt have the mentality of a frat boy with a bottle of roofies.

Just to contribute my own portion of assy behavior to this precious thread...

The French phrase is actually "c'est la vie", or that which literally translated means, that is the life (etymologically speaking, the word for the way and the word for the life are often entwined in various languages, though that has somewhat lost its relevancy in modern language).... It is often a rather wise practice to not attempt being impressive by tossing out phrases in languages you do not speak... One should always attempt to master the one they are most familiar with first.

And besides, the nick, the profile and the first question ever posted.... all indicate that this is just some kid looking to get his leg over as many easy chicks who will not require him to either be a good lover, at all responsible for his behavior, or a stimulating, encouraging and intriguing partner as he possibly can.  Hey, that's what it means to be a Dom, right?
