I will admit I haven't read all 2 pages of this thread. I'm really not interested enough in everyone's responses one way or the other about all the supposed fakes out there. I do have one thing to add though. Anyone ever notice that the people who post the messages about all the "fakes" and "players" out there are sometimes prime examples of those very same "fakes" and "players" ? I wish someone would call people on their bullshit, especially when they go around proclaiming how they are the only real ones. I think that all of us could be perceived as fakes or game players based on small portions of our interaction with people. I consider myself "real" but there have been a rare few occassions on which I have behaved in a way which I'm sure could be perceived as being deceptive or manipulative, etc. It's just part of being human. We do the best we can, or at least I think most of us try to.

My observation has been everyone is either fake or so jaded from encountering fakes that they're completely unwilling to make an honest attempt at communication. I make it a point not lose any hair over online personals though. Note: I was overexagerated I have atleast had some decent message exchanges with people from here (not many though).

Dear DomCpl4RTslave, Ladies and Gentlemen; Real and True included in any part of a statement or sentence; in my mind's eyes is a matter of an individual's perception and what individuals use as a measuring stick of what True and or Real is. Having a life other than sit behind a computer screen, there can be many justified reasons why individuals do not respond. Furthermore, people have a right to change their minds. I like giving people the benefit of a doubt or so. As for coming into a home of another, it is very risky for a single person. Having a couple is an instant concern for potential harm, as two can overpower someone and there have been cases in the past; where slaves were enticed into a private home but, in fact it was an abandoned home and awful things were done. May I suggest that those slaves who may wish to relocate be given consideration on how to address their needs for security, safety and anything that may be of their concern. I have had neutral areas where the slave can stay at a hotel and spend time in public places and only when comfortable, the second trip may be the time to introduce them into your private home. I would also invite these potential slaves to call into their 'safe call' individuals. Safety is everybody's concerns. That said, although I am not exactly seeking a female slave--I have met several of these fine ladies who identify as slaves and also have met some ladies who identify as Dominants. They have indeed behaved in a manner fitting to their title choices. Unfortunately, no matter where one seeks, there will be those who make a sport of the lifestyle, some who have no options but to keep to a weekend warrior schedule out of necessity, rather than choice; like those who are care givers, suddenly find themselves sole custody of children. The illusions of a website with its graphics, pictures and flowery profiles often cause unreal expectations that this is the promised land where Doms and subs abound waiting on golden bleachers for you to pick um with the 30 second heavenly time clock running. So you are right, it is not real and it causes frustration. Once you realize others are attracted to the same things here as you probably are in your desires, you will find what is real. The first bit I probably agree with. The majority from My own experience didn't apear to be real.... but there are plenty out there, from My experiece who ARE real.... a lot wheren't compatable for ME, but they where real in what they are and what they seek. I never had any problems arranging to meet the real ones, especialy local as they would simply turn up at the scene events I informed them I would be attending. Said hi, had a drink and a chat. Gave us chance to see if there was that spark in real life. They DO get swamped with mails, SOME do send mails out. I had around 40 approaches over the last year when I was searching.... OK I maybe sent out 3 times that many, but they where there looking for ME too. Hope that helps ease your 'inquiring mind'

Each section of the forums on any given day will have a post about people who are "not real" or "fake" or something along those lines. EVERY day, every forum. i for one am envious of the people whose lives are so charmed that they have never gotten home with their fast food to find their order was screwed up, who never got a busy signal when dialing the phone, who have never ordered something from a catalog or internet and didn't get exactly what they were expecting. These same people must always get green lights at intersections, the store is never out of the item they went to buy, they have aced every job interview. The baseball game has never been rained out, there is never a line at the ride they want to ride at Disney World, their favorite television show has never been cancelled or aired a re-run.
