I thought a monthly roll call would be a nice idea, ladies.

Okay...its February now, well into the New Year, what have you done different so far?
What is new on the BDSM front?

I have had a great New Year so far, I have a lot of projects that I am working on. {too many}
I still don't have a submissive, but hopefully I will have one by Thanksgiving. ROFL
I am learning to be kinder to myself and that is making it easier to be kinder to others.
I am happy and my soul is at peace, so all is okay in Mia's world.
Maybe the subbie will turn up eventually...time to go wabbit hunting! LOL

Hi

So far this year i have finally gotten over my extreme phobia and gone to the dentist
Im quitting smoking (its a bit rocky)
Im trying to be more confident in my approach with cetain play aspects with my boy
Im getting into the whole kicking about thing with him
Im still searching for a maid/ butler (not very sucessfully)
And im making more of an effort to make friends in my local bdsm community
Im not as happy as i would like to be yet this yera but im working on it

- well i've ended a 4 year relationship
- had to rescue my best friend after he got into a car wreck out in the middle of nowhere on his way up north for school
- Lost my job
- Health is failing.

The year started out good with my sub home for the holidays. Now we are both back to work, which sucks, but it has to be done.
I'm trying to enforce more control over him despite the long distance stuff, and he's getting into a system with specific duties, and we are in better contact now more often throughout the day.
While we are apart, I am spending more of my time writing, which İ had planned to do all along, finally I've got my butt in gear.
I'm sensing that this is going to be a very long year:)

Lets see,
I just paid off my third house.
One of my subs bought me a new car. (why? I don't know)
I'm going to Palermo for a few months.
I sold 2 of my dirtbikes.

I would say the new year is going pretty well so far.

I'm starting year 4 with My devoted online boy.
The renovations on My new house are finally done and I am all moved in. Now it's time to decorate!
I'm starting this year feeling more financially secure than I ever have.
I am loving My new job more and more each day.
Still on the lookout for a compatible real time submissive - keeping fingers crossed for that one! All the good ones seem to be in the states or UK!

January was rough, actually this semester has been rough.

I can't believe I'm teaching the same classes and there is such a big difference. The class is more organized and every student has a manual with all the in-class and homework in it. And yet, this group is like the definition of clueless come to life. We are about to start week five of the semester and some of them still don't have their manuals.

Also the research team I joined is not nearly as well organized as I had been led to believe. I have neither the time nor the authority to better organize it. Poor organization is one of my pet peeves.

Finally I found another passage that no one who has studied the topic my dissertation is about has found. While that might be great on some level I'm just trying to revise the bloody thing!

BDSM wise and writing wise though things are great.

Fox drove me for 7 hours yesterday back and forth to a great club in Ohio where I did a reading, talked, and was fed good food. I even made a lot more than I spent to get there and back.

January was a hell month for me financially this year. *Sigh* I really am thinking of taking up pro-domming on the side to pay some bills. So far, this month is a bit better, but still struggling uphill.
Emotionally, January was kinda blah, ups and downs, but February (so far) has been incredible! Every so often I just have to ask myself how I got so damn lucky.
On the BDSM front, I've been exploring and expanding myself. Trying to take the focus off sex and the physical aspects and move it to other, more mental areas, see if it makes me as happy as I think it will.
Job wise.. meh. Things are kind of sliding downhill. Its winter so there are very few hours to be had, and that contibutes a lot to my problems. (See top.)

Same shit, different year. But I'm working and moving forward, and I have a feeling spring this year is going to bring many positive changes.

Why not do phone domination? I know it’s competitive but it’s really a lot of fun. I make good money with my businesses and of course the dreaded “financial slaves” (laughing) that I have keeping me living large and Goddess like, however I enjoy exploring new people, making extra money and I feel that I am helping a lot of people explore when they have no other venue or feel lonely.

:::rasing hand::::: oh yeah and I'm around. I pop in to read what I can but to be honest I've been swamped. I set up a huge greenhouse and been growing a lot of great stuff & learning new organic systems. So I work work work all day then head down to the greenhouse at night (I have lights). I'm also training quite a bit and having a great time. 2007 is definately going to be my year!

It's nice to hear how everyone is doing....we tend to proclaim so many things around the first of the year, and then forget them!
I think it is important to keep that NEW YEAR spirit throughout the year.

Thanks, I hope things get better too, kinda a rough way to start the year, but its not really abnormal in my world. As for a job, i'm a welder, so its only a matter of waiting around untill there's a call out for my level.

MzMia, Your rollcall prompted me to post... and I will go back and give an introduction also!

February is my birthday month... so it's a great one. It's also the month of O/our annual play party here at Spidrsden. A small affair still. My girl rowdy, is growing into a fine intelligent submissive. And My naughty little boy is, well... naughty! a lot of the time! I'm so proud of both of them!

Finances will be better this year; I'm ready for a new house boy/girl to present her/himself and I'll be heading off to Greece for 3 weeks with my sister later this spring!
