A little confusing for me, the topic was entitled ABC's of being a submissive yet it seems more a list for slaves. Masters are mentioned yet not Dominants. The reason for confusion is that there usually lies a difference between M/s and D/s relationships. Please I hope that doesn't turn this into what is a slave vs. what is a submissive, that is not my intent!

The list for dominants is thankfully much shorter.

This guy CAPITALIZES all the letters in the third word of every sentence.

Either way, I read that OP as a complete fantasy for cookie cutter submission. Oh sure, there will be some who can embrace all that stuff and because they do they are submissive: they've met the test of submission .. but there are many more who will read that.. and say, damn, I just can't do D, F, P and Q so I must 'not' be a submissive and they'll just give up and I find that sad. I'm a bit prejudiced because of the 3rd person nature of it as well and freely admit that may color my view of the piece as a whole, but over all, it's someone, once again, putting out 'a' way as 'the' way and that just doesn't work for me.

My mom wrote me a birthday card like that once, using each letter of my name as the start of a sentence, I was really surprised at her artistic bent at the time and I was only about 10. She used it to give me advice to live by...nice hey :)

Anyways thats what your post reminded me of, some nice artistic expression, good for you[:)]

While i admire the OP's creativity and think what He wrote is lovely, there is a part of me that thinks "gee...i can only be submissive IF i have a Master?"  i am submissive always, it's a part of my core, who i am.  i do not have a Master.  i AM still, submissive.

I believe much of the same.  It is a bible for someone to live alone and never find the person they are seeking.  Nobody would fit every category.  So the search would go on and on with one disappointment after another. 
Especially when the person handing it out claiming the submissive has to be perfect is more than likely going to be the most undesireable person there is on the planet.
Seem's most dominants who want perfection are the furthest from it themselves.

this girl doesn't follow your thinking.  this girl is not a "girl" but a daughter-submissive to a loving, caring Daddy-Dom who doesn't make fantasy rules like this

someone needs to get his head out of the clouds and come back to reality.  it's doms like you who use "girl" when messaging me don't receive a reply back and get blocked.

I echo what much has been said that this is an M/s list and not a D/s list and it is just not that simple. The list comes off as one of those theory living not reality living lists that people put up in blogs to show their infinite wisdom, more of a mission statement then a functional guide.

I'm with mymasterssub69.  Those so-called "Doms" or "Masters" who are foolish enough to refer to me as "girl" quickly find out that this kitty has claws. That's assuming I even bother to respond to their nonsense and don't just block and delete.

i agree with you and would add this:
 
So much of D/s, M/s, and Bdsm is "outside of the box" thinking for me personally that i just refuse to put myself in another paradigm.
 
 my hope is that i have found someone that only requires my submissive nature and the rest of our relationship will be as limitless and as undefined as our imaginations...
for me, that works better than the abc's...those are for gradeschool and spell check :-)

i'm very critical of my own work of the bands i review. feedback is always welcome since they are posted on the radio station's website.
