Status: offline 		Okay, here' your chance to  speak out on what  mis understandings people have on you being a Mistress?

Some of the ones I have heard and maybe they are cute at first hearing them , but  after a while, it gets a little worn ?

Mistresses are in leather and 6 inch heeled thigh highs as soon as they get up in the morning .
Every Mistress is waiting by the computer for the next slave to contact them for a meeting that they will stop everything to attend.
Every first meeting involves playing ?
Mistresses all have dugeons built into their homes?

You get it..and While some may think I made these up, they are what I have been told over the years from folks here. I look forward to the new ones you can add .

Don't forget that all Dommes do all of the above for free because otherwise we wouldn't be real, true Dommes.

We're also willing and ready to meet every guy out there who is married/involved because obviously, we're not worthy of having a primary relationship.

Status: offline 		Personally, I think the biggest misconception people view of Dommes is the porn version verses the real version.
I am a laid back person who is very comfortable being involved in community activities and enjoy my slave's company as a friend at times.  A lot of what you see in porn is just not the way it is; therefore, we do not have a true definition of Domme.  She can be many things to many different people.

Status: offline 		MsSonnetMarwood good luck on your baking classes this year also. After watching Top Chef ,I have so much more appreciation for what it takes to work in a kitchen ...

Saying that about married men is so right on.
But lets also add in favor of all those good folks out here called Mistresses and doms, that
1.Never does a slave ever not show up to meet
2.All guys on the internet tell the truth all the time from the start.
3. Slaves who have an interest in other fetishes or clothing always know a Mistress has an unlimited budget to supply all the free wear or equipment a slave wants to use for his sole enjoyment.

and

There are great numbers of Mistress's that live to spend a lot of time and money and energy dressing up in fetishware and
buying expensive toys to "play" with strange submissive's that they barely know!

All Dominant women would be submissive if they met the "right man"

I don't think all Dommes have had some wrong done to e'm,to make them dominant,maybe this applies to some ladies.But some ladies are naturally Dominant.

Also i really don't think all Dommes act like the way you describe that they do.As every domme acts differently,has a different personality,so it is impossible for all Dommes,to all act the same way,as no two Dommes are the same well not the ones that i have had the pleasure of meeting anyway.

All the above statements are "myths" the OP asked us to post.  The Ladies & Gents don't really believe in them - they are total rubbish...i.e. stereotypes used to describe Dominas.
