No, it does not matter to much to me.  But most people in the world are very superficial.
I seek a lot more than the outer exterior, so my answer is no.

Include the funny pic....as one of the other photos. Put decent, normal, clean face shot as your intro pic. My opinion.

i certainly think the "type" of picture makes a difference in general... i don't spend a lot of time browsing profiles, but every once in a while i see one that baffles me (i swear i either saw the same guy that toservez did, or his brother, and really wondered how he decided that that was the best picture he had of himself). No one is better qualified than you are to decide if it is a good reflection of your personality... and if a good reflection of your personality weeds some people out, they probably would have just wasted your time. If nothing else, it will keep away those good-for-nothin' cat people! [:D]

Dont they say a picture,is worth a thousand words.But from what ivé seen around here,you could post a thousand pictures and still not get any sort of a message through.

I sort of liked your bird pic, but I like the new one also.  I say keep the one you like, and weed out the ones that would let a woman with a bird on her head keep them from writing back.
