Actually in the Uk you can get fired for doing something that brings the company you work for into 'disrepute'.

That is easy to say when you do not have children. When you have children your life isnt just yours anymore.  So one losing their job isnt something that can easily be shruged off.

I think part of what is great about the internet is your not judged on your looks but your personality. So i can understand why some don't put a picture up. Also not everyone has access to a webcam or such things to put a picture up on their profile.

"This company/agency is an at will employer."
This means that the company/agency can terminate you for
at any time for any reason.
 
Ergo, people employeed in the hotel and restaurant industry,
retail sales, customer sales reps, call centers, etc. and other
non-unionized, non-professional jobs are especially
vunerable.  And if you live in a small town or smaller city,
the definition of pornography is dependent on the
"community standards" of your community.
 
 
Anyone reading this who is a Union member of some kind?
The law is different for unioinized employees, but I am
not sure if that differs from state to state or is regulated
by the Federal Government.

Status: offline 		I did try to have some other pictures up, but they when declined....  Then again, I would not like someone young to stumble along and show there parents what I get up to on an evening, neighbour or not.

I do have a pic up.  Most of the people I know and my family know I frequent sites like this, the reason being I dont want to end up typing to a friend of family memeber...  Pictures dont bother me, but when there is no profile...  That is another topic...
