I am grateful that I met my special Master on here and that we both have been amazed how we just fit together and how wonderful and easy the relationship has been from the start. (I try not to do the sappy my Master is incredible stuff but I could not resist with this topic.)

I am grateful my Dad is done with his cancer treatments and is in remission.

I am grateful 24 is back on and when I do not fantasize about my Master I do so with Jack Bauer.

I'm grateful for my mom. She's my hero, she's my unwavering supporter, and if I lived to be a thousand years old, I could not begin to pay her back for her love and assistance.

I'm grateful for my job. I'm grateful for my friends. I'm grateful that it seems I have a chance to get my health back, at least to a reasonable degree. I'm grateful for my faith. I'm grateful for collarme, it's a great place to communicate with intelligent, interesting, and funny people.

I'm grateful for julia for starting this thread .

I'm grateful that I'm not losing my mind after all.  I KNEW I saw Julia as the OP on this.  Already mentioned the better work schedule in the other one, let me go on about gratitude to the wife.

Not only did she put up with me going to bed before the street lights came on for months, there was coffee all set up when I staggered into the kitchen around the time the bars were closing and sandwiches in the fridge.  She never complained about a bad situation we just had to ride out.  She laughed with me, instead of at me, when I became that guy who falls asleep in friends living rooms (and kept her nephews from painting my fingernails while I was out on their couch).  She insisted I wake her for a kiss before leaving, and called to make sure I had on those morning she was too deeply asleep to remember.

Thank you Babe.  I love you.

   And that's no heresy,
    Rich

I am grateful for a lot of things, but most specific to this forum, I am really grateful I could, and can, find information and read about wiitwd when I had no idea what "it" was, but knew it was doing it to me.  ~smile~

I am grateful for a large heating bill, for it means I am warm.

I am grateful for my husband. I want you to know that I did not have the coffee ready or sandwiches in the fridge because I had to, but because I love you. You are my best friend during the good times, and my rock when there are bad times. You make my yesterdays memorable, and I get excited when I think of what the tomorrows will bring, now that you are in my life.

I am grateful that your hours have changed so that we can spend more time together (even if we are in separate rooms on CollarMe).

I guess we should be grateful for remote controls, so we don't have keep getting up to find that balance point where the tv is loud enough to drown out the snoring, without waking the snorer.

Well then we should be grateful for earplugs, and the couch that provides a haven away from said snorer's snores.

Awesome thread, Julia!

I am grateful for those who held me together during the worst year of my life.  For my family who welcomed me back after I was estranged for so long...to not only welcome me back but to lavish me with love and support, and carry me through.  I am grateful for the beautiful friends I have, who didn't give up on me when every day I seemed to be hit with more problems to deal with.  For those who showed up at my door with dinner.  For my boss who allowed me to come and go as I needed.  For my Dad whose parting words were the most beautiful words a father could say to his daughter.  For my Mr. Wonderful - my strength, my rock, my beacon.  And to those of you from CM who helped me see my slavery in such a way that helped me shed my final barriers.

What I discovered, in a year of hell, is that love is abound and beautiful.  I am grateful for the love I have learned to see.

And WyrdRich, we female sorts put up laughingly with a lot when we appreciate our menfolk... just an observation, she sounds like a prize to me.

I waited until the end of the day to post here.
Grateful, I am grateful for the following ( in no particular order)

I am healthy enough to still live alone.

I am surrounded with comfort items like computers, books & my great woods.

I have a very small social circle but I can depend on any of them for anything.

I hit 40 and passed it without a breakdown lol.

I hit 40 and passed it, then realised omg being my age is actually awesome. I am past so much bs in life.

I got to hold a job for 10 years that I loved, dearly & strongly loved.

My old customers still seek me out, that makes me so happy.

Despite everything my life is GOOD and the world is GOOD.

I think I am most grateful for being able to see goodness in people despite their actions or words, that I empathise enough to understand.

That felt really good, thanks julia.

I am grateful for...

the modest roof over my head, because when I was a child, the home I have now would have seemed like a palace; my beautiful unmentionables, they make me so proud; being able to accept myself, the good, the bad, and the ugly; and that crazy mood that struck me the day I did something very out of character...and met Master.

*sigh*  life is good
