Wasn't minimum wage in Santa Cruz something like $11 or $15 about 5 years ago?   Didn't my daughter-in-law make more than my retirement on welfare down in SD?

They complained that minimum wage was not a livable wage, well now it isn't, because the cost of living went up. I was against the minimum wage increase, it’s just a never ending cycle.

Boy do we agree on that.   Why not raise the minimum wage to $1000000 per hr.   What difference would it make?   They are just gonna raise pricesof good and services to compensate for the additonal expense to employers.
