I can remember early back as 5 years old. I always thought something was wronge with me, or that I was weird until I had my first mild experience. As I started to meet more people with the same interests I became more comfortable with who I was. Anyone care to share there first BDSM experience?

Although I have always liked to be in charge and get my way, I didn't really have any inkling of BDSM until I was in my twenties. Twenty five I think. I was with some friends watching a porno in a theater, when a scene of a woman tied up and being whipped appeared. I got such a charge through my body that I couldn't believe it. I had never felt that way before. After that it was no turning back for me. I had to find out all about this lifestyle.

When i was younger, i thought something was wrong with me! i fantasized about being tied up, being called a whore and a slut, and having rough (and/or kinky) sex. It wasn't until about 2 years ago that i really got a taste; i was dating a guy who had an entire collection of whips (though he never used them on me) and was an expert with ropes and knots! i wasn't quite sure i'd find someone who was that much fun, but alas, i've found an entire community- both online and, finally, real life too! It's been an emotional ride, but it's also quite satisfying...and i look forward to future adventures! ~rain~

I have asked about this before Sinergy, you might want to try something new. Yes I know your sooooooo selective I know, but it might make you a better Dom if you try it. I hope you find that one, it sounds like you need it.

My first BDSM-ish thoughts were back in grammar school. I had a vague fantasy of several girls kissing me (and leaving the cartoony "lips" markings). Oh, I was naked and they were not. Needless to say I never explored being kissed by 12 year-olds.[:)]

Marissa- My first clear inkling of it was when I was eight or so- I remember being very arroused by a scene in a James Bond novel (thunderball?) where the bad guy tortures the Bondgirl (who is in a white bikini I recall, and tied to a chair) with a bucket of ice and a cigar. It was in grade school for me. Fantasies about rape and bondage, the girls in my class being helpless and bound, with me making them kiss each other and using them for sex. My first thoughts were age 4 or 5. I wanted to play games or scenes where a girl would tie me up. In 2nd grade a girl named Patti, my age (who later became a nun!) would play horsey with me. She being on my back and whipping me with the dowel/handel to a pinwheel. The pinwheel had broken off and left a sharp piece of plastic. It really stung when whe hit me with it. Then if another kid was watching us she would say to them,"Who do you think is stronger, girls or boys?" Then she'd flip me over on my back and jump on my chest and just wale on me. I waited anxiously for her to get home off the bus. Then of course Cat Woman, Agent 99 and any British spy movie from the 60's that always had plenty of bondage in them. It was all over for me. Several years ago a therapist told me that any fetish type arousal would be impossible at that age unless I had been sexually abused. I'd like to thank whoever it was, wherever they are. i checked the second category (early teens), but then got to thinking. Ever since i was a young child i was looking forward to having a "traditional" marriage (you know...like Ozzy and Harriett and Leave It To Beaver, where the man was in charge and the woman was subservient). Then i found out about the feminist movement, and all hopes were dashed away. i never wanted to be the one in charge, in fact it scared the hell out of me. The reason i checked the category i did though was because that was when i began to fantasize about being tied up. i remember asking boys/men to tie me to the bed, and they would tell me i was nuts..... that "good" girls didn't like that sort of thing. i didn't even know there was a name for it until i met my second husband, who introduced me to the lifestyle. At least then i knew i wasn't nuts, and that there were people out there that found it as erotic as i did.

Perhaps I have switch tendencies. Another problem I have is I have not actually met anybody I felt I could submit to. I am not trolling for people to try to get me to submit to them. My friends and I in grade school used to tie each other up to see how long it took us to get out. I was generally the hardest to tie up so I couldnt get out, and there are various things one can do to make it easier to escape. Luckily for me, I was the one who read constantly about all sorts of things, including escape artist manuals... Sinergy
