I am seriously saying the public's opinion of her has no bearing on the biological father's right to raise this child. You are completely twisting my words and statements. Lol popularity contests to see who if fit to reproduce? Of course that is a horrid, silly idea. Actually, sadly, i think public perception does have impact on custody. People in poly relationships often have issues with keeping custody of their children. Gay people are just now starting to get rights to adopt or keep custody.
Actually i don't think many of my neighbors would snicker at my profile nor my "relationship style" I do not have any children. But, if i did, what i read on a website does not compare with all the news stations talking about Anna's past. However since her death other celebrities and such seem to be seeing her in a different light. So perhaps she wont grow up hearing about how crazy and trashy her mother was.
Anyway what i was saying isnt even really about her mother, but about Howard if he is the father. I think there is much questionable about him. And i don't believe he would look out for her best interests. perhaps i am completely wrong and he is/will be a great father. I naturally hope whoever ends up being her father ( four men are claiming to be the father now) will have her best interests at heart and keep her out of the media spotlight. Only having one living parent now she's going to need a very loving and supportive father.

On a side note, I actually often defended her before and still now after her death. I dont think she was a bad person.

There are three men now vying for the money (baby). It is interesting that people who have no original right to the money will now be fighting legal battles for it. Call me cynical, but I think the fight for the baby has everything to do with the money that is at stake. As far as Anna being a cool mom, I can't see it. When I watched her tv show I felt bad for her son.

I heard on the Today show today there's some speculation/evidence that Anna was artificially inseminated with frozen sperm from the ex husband, the one that was in his 80's.....just about crazy enough to be true. It's one way to cinch getting some of that fortune.

There was an interesting interview with her former attorney (the one before HKS) that said she was actually a very intelligent woman. She knew that people fed off the "crazy antics" so she gave the public exactly what they wanted. (I'm not saying her life didn't spiral out of control at some point.) He also said that the person she was outside of the public spotlight and the persona she put out to the public were two very different things. Personally I don't feel I have the right to judge anyone simply from seeing the one side of a persona that they choose to show the public.

Frankly there aren't that many Playboy playmates from 10+ years ago that I can remember other than her. As someone being interviewed put it..she took her 15 minutes of fame and turned it into 15 years.

All I will say is this, surely there is other more newsworthy items than her death.....other many good people died on the same day, and yet noone devoted days of airtime to them. Is this truly the most important item in the worldwide news today; that it should dominate channels like CNN?

No matter how much people might not like it, CNN/Fox News/etcetera are all going to program to get ratings. Ratings equal money, and money is the bottom line.

And there's nothing wrong with that. But it does get a trifle old whenever a celebrity dies and people act surprised it gets news coverage.

general public thinks of it is not overly relevant.

I'm not suprised at all, as I was not suprised when James Brown hours long funeral was televised. I also realize it's ratings and revenue driven. I was just commenting it's a sad state of affairs that these stories and Jerry Springer have come to represent the majority of the population.

Amazing how her death seems to take priority over a trial taking place which is revealing the lies and deception that led up to an illegal, immoral war where thousands and thousands have died..
