a girl finds the boards a great way to debate, learn  something new, view different perspectives, and see what ideas are spreading out there.  She believes  she has a very strong knowledge of kink and BDSM until she comes here and learns something new, or sees a new type of play, or learns of other ways Sir can torture her.  It  is an amazing forum  to grow and expand, meet new people, talk and establish friendship hopefully both from an online perspective and offline too. 
She would like to get to know and meet people from her area and develop  that kind of community here in  the real life.
She comes here because she is  allowed to come here. Her Sir gives her the freedom to respond and engage in debate, ask questions and responds, she must remember to be  respectful(as she can) watch her mouth, and most of all every posting she posts here must be sent to him.
She does find this forum somewhat addicting as far as to see who will write what,  what is being said, responses that  will cause controversy and just overall great questions.  What she is amazed is when she  sees  the same people posting after post after post, when numbers get more then 1000 and they feel the need  to respond to EVERYTHING. every single thread has to have there opinion or some sort of agreeance or disagreeance. It makes me wonder that are we all but a  number of our posts??? Is our involvement, intelligence, honorability, and sincerity, is based  on nothing more then  the amount of posts that we do???
Personally as a girl watches her number slowly increase and as she gets new icons added to her name she realizes she is slowly being drawned into this addictive forum,but at least knowledge is being found here.
as she said before, love the questions  and the thought you invoke in people. Keep them up Sir Discipliner. Thank  you,

Status: offline 		This is one of the only places I can discuss and be open about my submissive tendencies. Whether I am in a relationship or not, this is a place to balance out the multitudes of vanilla-ness I face in day to day life. In addition to that, it helps me understand other people in the lifestyle and learn more about a variety of things I've yet to explore.

Status: offline 		It is hard to look down on the serial posters here, or on any board for that matter, because they are the ones that keep the boards active and alive, and while there are times,  perhaps more than a few:),  that one would wish for more quality over quantity, both from the questioners and from the responders, in the long run I think the more posters and the more postings the better.


Questioning Why people post or what makes them post is a waste of time, and criticism of those who post ad nauseum or question endlessly, always ends up sounding like conceit and arrogance.

Take what you want/need and leave the rest, it's a good lesson in how to live your life.

Status: offline 		I'm in a very satisfying relationship. But I'm interested in relationships, how and why they work and these and other forums are filled with that. If the only reason you come here is to find someone, then you miss the chance to learn from other people or to make friends. And that's sad, if you are wearing blinders that prevent you from seeing the other benefits of a forum.

Status: offline 		i almost got on the boards late last night because i couldnt tell Master he was a poo head, i was holding a protest, refusing to sleep, and there wasnt much else to do.  i failed in my protest.  Now i'm here cuz i only had like 5 min on the phone with Master when he woke me up, i was only able to call him a poo head once, i'm waking up, eating breakfast, refusing to watch cartoons, and slightly grumpy.

Status: offline 		I come to the boards to learn, to read what people have posted and then of course how others responded, I find myself here for hours on end without realizing it.
This is all just so fascinating to me, I am very new to this, therefore I am trying to learn as much as I can before I have any "actual" experiences. I can say that I am certainly glad to have found this site and these boards. What I have learned so far will help keep me safe. I have also learned a few new hard limits for myself, and some things that I thougt would be aren't.....
While I am looking for a relationship, I have no delusions of finding one here, or anywhere else on the internet for that matter.
I do find all of your questions to be intriguing sirdiscipliner, the responses that you get are very informative, and I for one thank you for posting them, as I do not as yet have the metal to do so myself.

I wouldn't normally be on here, as you can see I joined in 2005 and only recently became rated indecent.  My Mistress has had a cancerous tumor removed and is under going chemotherapy.  Once she is better I will probably fade away.

Firstly, good point Balletbob! and you do realize there's a BOB thread?!

secondly- I'm here primarily for vicarious learning, and downright stupefying entertainment. My  amount of time here varies considerably according to personal time constraints, work commitments and the balance of my D/s relationship.   The relationship may be excelling or bogging without any 'play', then the vicariousness kicks in.

LASTLY
       DEVILSLILSIS- Now that's classical, my Wild would be laughing over your post but so am  I...,   Me... I just say 'Get over it'  stamp your feet (nice pony girl style) whilst repeating continuously " SHIT BUM POOH" aloud for at least one minute.   (Just make sure you don't stomp in the mess you make!)

i see what you saying but even though i thought i knew it all i find coming here you can find so many different answer to question and then some ask what i may had been thinking of. so it is not they some may not have a person of interest i do but i still come to enjoy like minded folks and have  a wonderful chat when i do write. this is why i come to here.

I guess you could say I'm not getting what I need, but not in a frustrating negative sense.
Outside of my 15 year relationship with maye, I know only vanilla people.
I am shy, and have only recently learned to get over that in the vanilla world.

I thought that by coming here I might meet some people.
While not looking for a romantic relationship I was/am hoping to find friendly relationships.
