Status: offline 		I was chained by my love for him... his caring, his kindness, and all of the many things he brings into my life.  I do wear his collar, and we did the whole contract thing, but he captured my heart without all of the fluff attached.  That will be there if the contract is burned and the collar breaks.

Status: offline 		Neither a collar or contract bind me, there are merely symbols.  A Master & His submissive are bound well before a collar is placed upon her neck and well before they pen a legal contract.

Status: offline 		My boy has been bound to me well before he got his collar. He is bound by his need to be accepted by me, his love for me and his addiction to my attention.
When I first got him, he left becasue he wasnt sure he could be part of the lifestyle at all. He came back shortly afterwards, saying that life with me is a scary concept, giving everything up. However, living without me was even scarier.

Me.

I am responsible for my commitment to Him; to serve Him.

I am responsible for the way I respond to Him.  He may illicit those responses, but I am responsible for them, good and bad. 

I don't take those responsibilities lightly.  That is my bond.

That I think He's Da Bomb helps, too.  Heh.

Part of what binds me is the desire i feel to do so, that and the fire He causes to burn inside me at all times. As for a collar or contract...those can be tarnished or burned as they are only outside things but the collar He has placed around my heart, mind, body and soul keep me bound to Him in ways nothing else could.

Status: offline 		The collar he gave me is just a symbol of our comittiment to each other.  The mutual love , devotion and respect we have for each other binds me to him. The way I want to constantly feel his presence binds me to him.  He is the first thing I think about when I awake and the last thing I think about before I sleep.

I am not collared, nor do I have a contract.  The original, and most powerful, bind to Him is my mind.  That still holds true after over a year.

Status: offline 		I'd say that love and trust is the strongest binding force. When communication breaks down and love for each other doesn't get expressed, then the desire to want to serve becomes weaker.

Status: offline 		I met Sir six years ago and knew from the moment I met Him He would change my life.  During all of our ups and downs and in and out of friendships W/we grew closer and He meant more to me everytime it ended than when it began.  Today W/we are trying to take this relationship to a new level and in that I have found that He is the one for me, the one I want to serve and the only one I will ever want to serve.  It fulfils me daily to see His smile and to hear His voice.  I want nothing more than to see Him happy.  I couldn't imagine my life without Him in it, I don't want to imagine it with out Him in it.

Status: offline 		I do have a collar and a contract but that is not what binds me to Master.  Are theyimportant to me? Yes.

What binds me to Master though is my deep abiding love and devotion to him.  The collar he put around my heart and mind is much strong they anything he could put around my neck.

this is actually a hard question to answer. i do wear a collar when i a, in Mistresses pressence, but its much more than that. i know when, and how to to keep my Mistress happy, but on the same token, i am reassured that i will be protected by Her, this happens in real life, and Mistress keeps a close eye on mewhen i am not in seesion with Her, so i am closely bound to Mistress in everything i do, and i keep nothing from Her

What binds me to him, is 'him'. He owns me, completely. He is and has been breaking me free of the liberties I once took for granted and freeing me of control. I have none. I own nothing. Anything I wear, belongs to him. Anything I eat, belongs to him. Every function I perform, including going to the nine to five job, belongs to him. Every minute of my life, belongs to him. I have no doubt of this and need no physical reminders of it. It's been well enforced and I'm so utterly happy and peaceful to be so honestly bound this way; mind and body and spirit.

For instance: when I was collared in the past and 'belonged' to someone, I did what I thought I was supposed to do to be submissive. My 'owners' accepted it because they didn't really want the responsibility of actually owning anyone. I didn't give up anything and my life never changed much. I was sort of theirs behind closed doors.

Now, I no longer have to pretend. I move and live and dress and eat and work and sleep and love as my owner wishes. I am safe and loved and controlled.

Contracts and collars mean very little to me. For myself, they are nothing more than extras that come from a successful relationship ( and sometimes not so successful ). What would bind me to the person who I surrendered to would be my absolute devotion and love for that person. Nothing else would or could ever be as strong.
