Given that the question still stands even though you have not clarified what is the killee that we assumed were humans, I will admit to swatting a fly earlier.  Sorry.

edited to add- Are you going to clarify what you were referring to in your OP if not killing humans or will we remain forever unenlightened?

If you look carefully at my question I didn't even define killing what, It was interesting that it seems everyone assumed I meant humans, Hmmm. The question still stands.

Clearly, you did not read my post.

I didn't read it either.... I started to, but then I fell a sleep.

Anyways, if the OP is talking about the Native American's Great Spirit, who happens to rule the Happy Hunting Ground, where hunting is plentiful and game is unlimited. It would be a contradiction in itself... since the Happy Hunting Ground is where they go in the afterlife to kill.

If I am wrong polyamorous then clarify what you are asking, or expect wrong answers.

Erm poly, id like to ask you something and no wisecracks you comedian! Define what your spirit deems as 'Good' and 'Evil'? You are generalising with your open questions and so are you really surprised when everyone assumes? Your question isn't specific.

It was all in fun...

Out of curiousity would you shrink it first or just soak it in some gasoline and then torch it?

Nah, I'd just leave it out for the flies.

Better warning for the rest of 'em.

At all?

Not in the sense that most people believe in it.

We are all driven by the same force - wanting to feel good.

Some people feel good by making others feel good, some by making others feel bad, and some by pissing on a slave.  These urges are programmed into us by a myriad of forces, which we cannot determine.

We all have a choice on how to behave, but some know this, some do not.

We also all come from a different background.  What is acceptable in Iran is not acceptable here, and vice versa.  To a lesser extent, this applies within cities, social circles, and even households.  I can easily say "killing is wrong," but I am thereby condemning the millions of people who have done so for millions of good reasons throughout history.  Are all of these reasons knowable, or even understandable?  No.  So how can I judge these people?

At the end of the day, I think laws should exist to outlaw actions which negatively impact society, such as theft, murder, rape, and feeding politicians, but not because it is wrong.

Yours,

benji

My Great Spirit has an answer....never.  Even if all wars came to an end and we had true world peace...highly unlikely, there would still be murders of passion, of pleasure, and profit.  The end of the world will come before it stops.  I don't like it....but I have to be realistic

You keep talking about little wheat in the chaff, so why not go elsewhere to find your nutrition?

I cant help it, everytime I read this guy's posts, I think of the Disney movie about 3 witches at Halloween, and that Parker gal running around, saying "amuck amuck amuck amuck" till she gets smacked.

I believe some killing is needed to eat, etc., but we need not take joy in the killing,  we could do it with reverence and care for the spirit who's living life we just ended. And as for the sport of hunting, well with a scope giving us better sight than an eagle and bullets that exceed the sound barrier, bragging of the buck you took down that never saw you,  you were so far away, and never heard the shot till already hit, what is the sport in that? Might as well use a nuke.  I'd prefer a conventional bow and arrow and to stalk and use my cunning and skills to get my dinner,  getting close enough to kill with one arrow well placed and saying a prayer as I shot and as my prey died. I'd waste none of it either.

Then why don't you actually do it, instead of talking about what you would do.

Ah Ha.... so blood shed, although not necessiarly human was a point in the killing your Great Spirit was asking about!   Prayer or no prayer, the fear of the animal as he smells your approach kills it's spirit.  Give me the scope anyday, I'll Pray as I squeeze!!!

Domiguy demonstrating his quick cat like reflexes ...Comes from out of "nowhere" to knock the  rifle out of Quivers hands...Shouts, "Run polyamorous!!!"..."Run like the wind  you impish, little furry, adorable, learning disabled  critter!!!"

I Look down to see Quivver clutching my calf and thigh and she's gazing up longingly in to my eyes, her creamy white heaving breasts glistening in the twilight...... like some cheap Gorean novel.
