I did not ask for any facts nor any reference. I simply posted that page 2 was a follow up story and pasted a bit from that. I don't know how you got that into my asking for a ref or clarification lol.

Status: offline 		ok, i know i will probabaly get flamed for this... but why is it ok for white christian americans to bomb innocent people in the middle east simply becasue they MIGHT have something to do with a terrorist org. or MIGHT have wepons .... but as soon as something happens in the states it is the end of the world?....i feel bad for the familty of the people who were killed in that mall.... but my simpothy only goes so far...... americans have done terrible things to the middle east in the last little while...i know, i know....the attacks on 911 were a horrible horrible thing.... but things like that happen all the time in other parts of the world and don't even reach our media..... alright, i know that my post isn't worded the best way.... but what i'm trying to get across is that terrorism isn't something that muslums do to north americans....it is something that PEOPLE do to PEOPLE....it happens all the time and comes in many forms..... so the fact that he was muslm should not matter...he could have done the same thing if he were christian, jewish any other religion....people do things to hurt or kill each other....people from every race, religion and oreantation do it.....so don't jump all over one groop simply becasue someone who is a member of that groop did something to hurt you....because every groop had good people in it too

However, at first glance at the OP, I want to say that my LTR/vanilla partner (for 13+ years) is muslim... non-practicing one, but, still, muslim... and he is a peaceful, loving man who became an American citizen a couple of years ago. I can't stand seeing somebody equating terrorism to religion... really, really starts to irk me after a while.

It's not the "muslims" it's the radical fundamentalists of any religion that messes things up for the rest of the members.

Just my 2 cents... for whatever that's worth, probably not much.

Now I'm puzzled. So your complaint, if I understand you right, is that they should have chased ratings instead of following their editorial judgment?

Sorry CJenny, I wasn't actually replying to you... did that silly fast reply... it is  just in general... I get very upset when I hear about Muslims given the blanket statement as "terrorists"... so, as I re-read my original post, didn't make sense to me, so, I re-wrote it... does what I said before make sense to you now?

I don't know why I came onto this thread in the first place, I usually stick to the lighter and fluffier topics just for reasons like this.
