now, bludemonn, I didn't say black onyx would help get rid of demons you brought upon yourself... lol... I think it's supposed to keep human negativity away from you... What do I know, I'm a lapsed Catholic [;)]

A friend told me that my hematite ring will absorb any negative energy around me.  Apparently this is good for me, so long as I periodically clean the ring out by leaving it out for a few hours in direct sunlight.

Forget that!

Now that I know this, I'm keeping my ring out of direct sunlight at all costs, so I can absorb more and more negative energy into it.  Eventually, I think, I'll have the Ring of Sauron, and I can rule all of Middle-Earth!!!

Over in the UK you have to be a little wary of chinese herbalists basically because of what you just said, these herbs are of purest form and not 'watered' down, if you have any slight allergies then be careful, people over here have been known to die from using certain 'healthy' herbs. I read somewhere that in the U.S. (although probably everywhere) some pharmaceutical companies seriousley dilute remedies thus making them less active.

bludemonn -> RE: HERBAL MAGIC (2/15/2007 12:57:02 AM)

Good for you QuietDom ...see atlast CM has produced a thread which has helped people...albeit to become rulers of middle earth via harvesting negative energy...come on now people we cant ALL be Jesus!

Certain chrystals will also 'trap' spirits and fields of negativity, salt chrystals are very good for this.

ownedgirlie -> RE: HERBAL MAGIC (2/15/2007 12:57:44 AM)

That is likely true, if taking them in supplement form, as I did.  But I've also been to a Doctor and Professor of Chinese Medicine in SF who gave you the straight stuff.  Nasty tasting stuff too, a bag of bark-like substance that you're suppose to make tea out of...stinks up the whole house and curls your nostrils when you drink it but boy oh boy life sings again. [:D]

mons -> RE: HERBAL MAGIC (2/15/2007 12:59:30 AM)

greetings

a famous singer just died about a month or two ago he was taking pres. medicine and herdal suppmenats adverse reacition kill him no thanks but hey what may help you killl other if you taking this by mouth and oh god helps with the evil

bludemonn -> RE: HERBAL MAGIC (2/15/2007 1:02:31 AM)

You opened yourself to it though which is a very powerful ingredient in itself, dammit i should have entitled the thread Herbal & Aromatic Magic, as everything has 'memory' i do believe in the power of Aroma's (and not farting or bad breath!) to bring back good feelings and good memories.

ownedgirlie -> RE: HERBAL MAGIC (2/15/2007 1:05:42 AM)

Oh yes...remembering scents can bring one's mind right back to the time and place where such scent was first experienced.  Amazing stuff.

I'd rather not smell those herbs again though, lol.

bludemonn -> RE: HERBAL MAGIC (2/15/2007 1:05:46 AM)

......right...didnt really understand what you meant there but taking prescribed meds AND herbal remedies REALLY isn't recommended as some of the herbal properties will actually increase the pre. meds dosage, something to do with speeding up the metabolism, i seriousley doubt this singer was told to take both.

bludemonn -> RE: HERBAL MAGIC (2/15/2007 1:06:55 AM)

Ahhhhh Fragrant herbs...they smell so good sometimes they make me wet my pants......errm did i just type that? [>:]

bludemonn -> RE: HERBAL MAGIC (2/15/2007 5:39:24 AM)

Chickweed - Good for rheumatism, arthritis, joint pain, cuts and skin irritation can be taken in various different ways such as a poultice of leaves and stems for cuts, infusion and tincture for rheumatism, arthritis..... If that dont help try deep heat!

Seeing as FAT is back on the agenda thanks to a 'certain' person I have a few ingredients that just may help IF you wish to try to lose as few:

Speed up your heart rate with stimulants such as Green Tea and rid your body of excess fluid (water retention) like Buchu but steer clear of laxatives!!!

Getting rid of fatty stores into the blood stream is easy by drinking Coffee (no sugar) this is a trick often used by body builders nearing competition, again this is a stimulant & diuretic. Remeber though NONE of this is going to help if you do not begin regular patterns of exercise, light to mild until sufficient enough to increase, starving is NOT an option either as all this will do is instruct the body that when you do eat it will keep ALL the material thus making you increase weight.

If that dosent help i can always send you an Evil spirit to chase your ass up and down the house!

EVIL - how to get rid of (apparently)
1. African Ginger - Protects against evil entities and hexes (those nasty little curses people put on you) spread around your house.

Try plain white salt instead, save the ginger for figging.

Well it isn't for sugar *s* and it wasn't in the list you posted. It's the only herb I grow & my cat eats it every time before it matures. It is my favoritist herb in the whole world, even more than cilantro!

Oh, cjenny!  Please? Won't you pass that groovy herb along? I'll bring my Dark Side Of The Moon album....  [sm=rolleyes.gif]

"Parsley, Sage, Rose Mary and Thyme.. she was once a true love of mine"

bludemonn looks more like a wood Satyr then a demon, don't you think?

sugar (who did not inhale)

PS Actually, I do use and believe in alternative/complimentary medicine as well as in the mystical properties of nature.

For those trying to shed a few - Fennel.  It is a genuine, healthful, appetite suppressant.  The fried herb as a tea can tatse foul to the unaccustomed, but used in stir fries, sauces, or even juiced if you do that sort of thing, the fresh bulb is really sweet and delicious, provided you are an aniseed flavour fan!

sensualmagirl -> RE: HERBAL MAGIC (2/15/2007 10:03:13 AM)

fennel... can I drink Sambuca and get the same dietary effect? How about anise snow-ball or pizzelle cookies?

LOL... I'm joking of course, but, thank you for the information, I never knew. I love fennel in my pasta dishes too (whole grain pasta for me though).

I was always told anise was good to settle the stomach after dinner... a lot of Italian families I know eat it raw after a big meal, like Christmas.

You find that in Indian cooking, too. A lot of Indian restaurants serve a bowl of licorice and fennel seeds after the meal to help your digestion.

bludemonn -> RE: HERBAL MAGIC (2/15/2007 12:56:03 PM)

Wood Satyr nonesense!! I am a djinn, a fire demon (usually) and never ever judge a book by its cover (unless is a really nice looking one), we will always come in many different forms, sometimes when you least expect it.

In some respects there are no Mystical properties themselves in Herbs but its the energy with which you use them.

bludemonn -> RE: HERBAL MAGIC (2/15/2007 1:04:37 PM)

Nice one MsStick (you aint a wood stayr are you what with you being a stick?), Fenugreek is also an appetite supressant, the great thing about alot of these herbs is that have anti-oxidants within that help the blood it's also worth combining your Appetite supressant with something that stimulates the heart rate, Guarana is good for this.

bludemonn -> RE: HERBAL MAGIC (2/15/2007 1:06:20 PM)

Anise well noted, round our way Ginger is often used to settle a bad stomach...or flat Pepsi! (Pepsi formally known as Pepsin was originally a remedy for upset Stomach)

sensualmagirl -> RE: HERBAL MAGIC (2/15/2007 2:18:35 PM)

Ever have candied ginger? That's really good too... and tastey
