ORIGINAL: LadyHugs Dear porthuronsub, Ladies and Gentlemen; In having had time to use a stop watch, it was shocking how much time it took for my slaves to escape in case of fire. We didn't have cell phones back then. Something which is a blessing for all now days. Clothes can be sweat pants and shirt, slip on clogs or Crocs, bathrobe--coat if foul weather, pin gloves and scarf, hat to the coat as to grab and run. I would also like slaves to have their driver's license and keys to all the autos. I'd have them in a ziplock bag, so he can move cars away from the fire or disaster, to go into and stay warm. Perhaps a set of clothing can be stored in an automobile for such cases. The major thing is get out--get out alive. Just some thoughts. Respectfully submitted for consideration, Lady Hugs I enjoyed reading the safety measures, but I would not feel comfortable leaving a slave locked in a cage if I was not home, even with the envelope. As LadyHugs states it can take a long time to escape in times of fire, what if the slave starts freaking and drops the key? Or could not see the key due to smoke, etc. I would hate to be in such a situation. Better just to keep him locked up when I am home, and a list of chores when I am gone.
