Me neither. Been leaning more toward not lately.

Swanky poo...There are some problems though...They tend to live for fucking ever!!!! No reprieve, no common courtesy to just up and die on ya.  But as I get older it becomes apparent I'm going to have to latch on to someone to change my diaper and wipe the snot off of my face...Extremely important when I finally reach a point that I am unable or just don't feel like doing those things for myself.   The other angle is to find a woman with a darker complexion...They tend to age much more gracefully...Didn't spend time or money or damaging skin cells in the pursuit of a perfect tan.

But for the sake of the Country and your unborn...You can't beat the prospects or deny the upside of the Asian equation.

It they're serious, take them seriously.

After I got done typing the initial post, I thought to myself,  "Who, in this gosh-darn, attention-retarded world of ours has the patience to read more than two paragraphs at one time?"

You see, in the old days, before all of this newfangled "technological age", people used to make it through ENTIRE BOOKS, believe it or not!!!! I'm not lying, folks; sometimes these quasi-mythical tomes numbered hundreds of pages in length.........and they were all covered in words, too!!!!!!!  Unlike your average Stephan King, or Michael Whateverthefuckhisnameis novel, these volumes actually made use of words that could possibly befuddle the Reader Constant to the extent of requiring a DICTIONARY!!!!!!!!

If you think that my posts are too fluffy and verbose, Ladies and Germs, you should take a gander at something like Proust, or Nabokov.  Then again, that would require the average American citizen to exert way too much effort.  I mean, books don't even have keyboards or anything!!   You'd totally have to, like, look up from it and stuff just to log into MySpace!!!

Some of us still do.

But reading on paper is a lot more comfortable than reading on screen, which is why I (and, I suspect, others) tend to gloss over long posts.

~fast reply~

For the record, I did go back and read all of it (and yes, I do read books as well... have spent much of my life reading... lol). My first post was a gut reaction to broad generalizations — a personal pet peeve of mine. There are more than two sides to every story or theory.

I also do not beleive that just because someone is Chinese, they are better "Americans" (whatever that means, we are a diverse lot!), as I do not beleive if you are black, white, hispanic, pink with purple polka-dots (insert whatever else you'd like here) makes you prone to be a "bitch screaming of opression" (to paraphrase the OP).

In the serious portion of this thread, the OP's point was that Chinese Americans have flourished with incredible alacrity because they've brought along a fiery work ethic, and inculcated their diligence on successive generations.  Dumb people (of whatever race) instill questionable values upon their progeny, and, from what I've seen, heard, and read, the Chinese have demonstrated an ungodly grasp of common sense  concepts, such as extreme frugality, hard-work, and GOOD STUDY HABITS.  If dumb folks would stop indulging in primitive rutting rituals, the MENSA crowd might decide to contribute more members to the gene-pool, instead of giving up on reproduction.

Low I.Q. couples reproduce at an exorbitant rate in the United States.  Meanwhile, high-IQ couples worry about fiscal responsibilty, and all of that "mature adult stuff."  Eastern Asians, statistically speaking, possess the highest IQ's, in the world (even American born Eastern Asians, and certain members of the Jewish population) AND THEY REPRODUCE LIKE RABBITS!!!!!!  If you want to counteract a growing problem, you've got to fight fire with fire.   Maybe all of those sound virtues could give the ol' U.S. of A a common sense facelift.

Ah hell susy mae he's usin them thar big words again.  Shoot I can't never tell what dat boys jabberin bout haf o da time.  If'n I'd finished up da third grade maybe I'd unerstand im.

You have no idea the pain I've gone through having to comit that to print....well, virtual print.   You are rather long winded sometimes :-)  I spent 10 hours today pouring over reports and finding x....on a computer.  I'm sure others are the same.  Our eyes already hurt.  Why do you cause more strain on them?  You feel the Chinese...or Asians in general are more hardworking and effecient than the average...everything else.  I got it...Moving on.

It's just a personal opinion, honey.  I work around a swarming pool of East Asians all day long, and while other people seem taken aback by their perceived rudeness and "bizarre" natures, those cute little yellow rascals have impressed the hell out of me.

From now on, I'm going to be super-frugal, talk way too loud in restaurants, lose my concept of personal space, and get some really bitchin' math and spatial visualization skills.

I've got plenty of friends from all walks of life, Chinese, Swiss-German, Hispanic, Black, Arab, etc, and not a dumb one in the lot. Well, I do have a friend who's Italian and a hair-dresser who seems rather "dull witted", but, I think she's faking her stupidity 1/2 the time since she knows a lot more about the stock market than some.

Possibly it's because "they can live a month on a hand full of rice?"...Line from some insensitive WWII flick...

Anywhooo, sub susie is actually Chinese and, hold on to your hats, but she's an engineer!!!! Go figure!!!
Her family is a total "Only in America" success story...Their family has accomplished more in forty years than all of The Domiguy's family combined and we stepped off of the deck of the Mayflower!!!

That's the wonderful thing about "The Great Experiment."...In 2042 when all of us crackerzz are finally no longer the majority...It's up to the Asian Americans to pull this land of ours/theirs to glory!!!!..... Chinese fortune cookie says: (which is an American novelty) "Get yoo' dumb white kids in to a twwade schooool...no woom for you at top! no wucky numbers fo' you...Go home!"

There is nothing that brings Domiguy more joy than quoting himself....Tre Jung Lee has a valid point....Asian Americans are kicking ass....Check out the above links before you respond without knowing the  "facts."
