To The Op,

I always thought of a straight person as non-drinking, non-smoking, non-cursing...oh, and non-sexual! Ahhh, the good old definitions!!!

And btw, I didn't read it all....got to page 15 and said, Oh no bloody way!"

cheers,

gayle

becca333 -> RE: honesty about sexual orientation (7/3/2007 11:33:19 PM)

Is this a contest to see how many topics we can get on one thread?

MissOchistic -> RE: honesty about sexual orientation (7/4/2007 3:37:06 AM)

Holy shit, pardon my Swedish.

I don't care what anyone else wants to call it anymore. Bi sexual, tri sexual, whatever. 71 pages? What a fucking joke.

Valyraen -> RE: honesty about sexual orientation (7/4/2007 5:17:21 AM)

Umm, that was sorta my fault. Y'see... about 15 pages into this particular little head/wall interaction, I started a hijacking discussion and just ran with it for a few hours. We eventually derailed it (I think), and I'd really prefer that this thread just die quietly now.

Oh, okay then...I didn't bother reading after the first 11 pages or so, and I thought there was 70 pages debating this incredibly stupid idea xD

Not quite... The thread is actually a beautiful weave of discussing sexuality, musical theater, Jerry Springer, recipes for human BBQ, how to raise stock for said BBQ, parenting and a few other extras. [:D]

k8trix -> RE: honesty about sexual orientation (7/4/2007 9:24:14 AM)

I believe total honesty is always the best way to go.

AquaticSub -> RE: honesty about sexual orientation (7/4/2007 9:51:55 AM)

So... if we actually get this discussion started back up, can we start taking bets on how many pages it will get to?

Valyraen -> RE: honesty about sexual orientation (7/4/2007 11:01:09 AM)

Can we not get this thread started back up, please? It was enough for me the first time around... though I've gotta say, it's good to get a refresher on just how far out my mind can go before the tether pulls me back...

slaveish -> RE: honesty about sexual orientation (7/4/2007 12:32:53 PM)

Your brain is on a tether?

Can we play ball with it then?

Rose4Mistress -> RE: honesty about sexual orientation (7/4/2007 3:11:42 PM)

From my experience, most people experiment in some form or another with the same sex.  When I was in elementary school, it was practicing kissing each other so we would know how, as we got older it was discussing and even "teaching" each other masturbation techniques.  Most of these friends are now "completely" straight...they date men, they only have sex with men, etc.  Even so, it is still very common for these same girls to kiss other girls at bars, or to even engage in threesomes!  Are they bisexual?  No.  They are just comfortable with their sexuality.
I am bisexual, true.  I am equally happy with either sex, and I will seek out both men and women for sex.  To me, this is what it means to be bisexual. Not that I have in the past had sex with a girl, decided I didn't like it, and moved on.  That would make me a straight girl who had once experimented.  But as it is, I do like women, I do like men.  Anyone who is going to be in my life will know that.  I can be monogamous and happy...I don't need both sexes in my life in that manner, although when I am allowed to, I enjoy having both.  What can I say...I'm greedy!
True, because of the stigma against male homosexuals and bisexuals, maybe men don't experiment as much as women do.  Guys cheer when two girls makeout...but I don't think many girls would cheer seeing two men make out (although some women do like that, and thats ok with me).  Still, you can't tell me that men don't compare penis length, etc.  Ask a man about porn.  Does he want to see guys with small dicks on there?  NO!  They want to see men with large ones, because that makes the porn more interesting.  Are these men gay/bi?  Not at all.
My boyfriend has never been intimate with another man, and has no desire to.  Does that mean he does not notice if males are attractive, or does that mean he never discussed masturbation with his friends?  Of course not.
I am sorry that you have had some bad things happen to you, but simply because someone has experimented in the past does not make them bisexual.  Have you ever taken more aspirin than you should? Have you ever smoked weed?  Then, by your definition, you are a drugee.

cjenny -> RE: honesty about sexual orientation (7/4/2007 3:17:20 PM)

I think she meant 'straight' as in straight laced. Non partiers.. good lil girls & boys. Not straight as in orientation.
Back in the good ole days straight meant those that went to class & didn't go to all night parties.

Wow this thread really IS alive again isn't it? [sm=goodnight.gif]

beargonewild -> RE: honesty about sexual orientation (7/5/2007 7:31:10 AM)

Ribs sounds good, I'll bring a few kegs for refreshments!

CrimsonMoan -> RE: honesty about sexual orientation (7/5/2007 7:55:52 AM)

someone mention bbq?

latexbarbiets -> RE: honesty about sexual orientation (7/5/2007 5:59:27 PM)

I havent read through this whole thing. But heres my take on this from a TransSexuals view. Of all the men i've been with or who want to be with a TG, i'd say 99.999% of them are straight. Its a huge fantasy for Straight men to be with a TG to have a "bi" experience but still be considered straight. Most are very secretive about this since they dont want to be "outed" in the bdsm lifestyle as being "gay" or "bi". What i find funny is male Doms wont speak to me in a chatroom, but they sure will pm me or send me emails. I find it funny, yet i understand it due to the discrimination against them among their peers. Its rather sad thats folks cant accept one another no matter what their orientation. Guess thats why TS porn is the biggest selling porn in the world(yet the lowest paid for actors, hehe). End of rant.

Barbie
now serving number 2348(straight men and counting) j/k
