My name is an ironic reference to another member who is blissfully unaware of the damage she did to my One. Or am i being generous in that assumption and she knew exactly what she was doing to Him.

interesting

I think this is an interesting topic, and its often very interesting how someone came up with their name or why, whether here or where ever.....you always have the option of changing your name legally.  I have used various acronyms and aliases, and my brother used a name similiar to the one I'm using now, so figured since I'm older and figure I am the example as eldest, I'd follow his example this once....

I think my brother had v's in his name, and it was supposed to be birds, so he had 3 on front and 2 in back, so of course I had to use W's, twice as many birds....lol  I guess I didn't put that much thought into it, because no one would be able to guess how I came up with it.....

I find it fun to guess other people's origin of their name....

I put little to no emphasis on the screen name a person uses.  For those of you that listen to the Howard Stern Show on satellite radio there is the example set by JD.  JD is a awkward, skinny little guy.  He is a painfully shy, self-loathing, agoraphobic, stuttering dude that got beat by Robin in an armwrestling match.  His screen name is "Dabadass".  Nuff said.

What's in a name?

hmmmm, well, there's vowels, consonants, letters of all types, some have dashes, some have ' and some have other symbols

Dnomyar -> RE: Whats in a name? (7/13/2007 7:05:28 AM)

I have had several names on here.  Was DomRaymond which everyone on here shortened to DR. For some reason I did not care for the Dom part but Raymond was already taken. Racked my brain to try to come up with something that was clever and would stand out. Gave up on that. Wrote my name backward and could'nt pronounce it then and still cant. A lot of people look for some meaning in it. There is none people.

Hi,

I just got a message from someone who were saying

quote:

use lower case letters for your nick as that signafies that your submissive, upper case or Caps says your a Domme

My nickname is SexyCazzy - well... the sexy part is not really important but the Cazzy part is important as it is the half of my nickname for my real name - I use Caz a lot on the Internet but decided to add on the other letters zy at the end of Cazzy for my personal reasons.

Anyway, my question is, is it really important to have your nick/username/screenname in upper case to show that you are a submissive, and Caps to show that you are a Dominator?

From my POV, I feel the screenname is not important, its the person behind the name which is important. A screenname is just a name.

Any thoughts?

Ah, someone trying to make you conform to their rules of proper submissive behavior.  Bah! [:'(]

<---------- submissive using upper case letters in her screen name....... nyah nyah nyah! [;)]

michelles my slave name ryders masters surname so does that mean the r should be a capital in some peoples eyes? Agree that the mix of text speak and sex are usually off putting names as are words such as norty instead of naughty i think its daft.
