It's really not the members that are the issue. Whether people want sexually explicit or not, the site owner's don't allow it.

The thing is azz many people don't see this as "just" about sex-graphic or otherwise. Many are interested in the D/s dynamics, some seek to learn other's views on WIITWD. Other people seeks answers to questions they have about their relationships or ask for input on a question they have. Some have safety questions and some just like to joke around, shoot the breeze or post on politics or anything else that catches their fancy. Collarme is wonderful in that regard. There is a little something for everyone. When it comes to sex in the end its pretty much about in and out and in and out. While the reality feels great how much is there to actually say about the topic?

my theory (and I may be the only one here) is because many people want to post about how they love to give blowjobs, but when you get right down to it, very few people give me blowjobs, and that kinda makes me a little anxious. Glad to have cleared it up. Ron

I would have to agree with a lot of the comments here ... I usually base how a person is off the way they display themselves on line. I also agree with the comments that chat speak is lazy ... and why would a sub search for a lazy dom ... but these are just my opinions. But I also think that texting in a forum is a lot like a profile. Many people will search over a profile because there is no picture, and they might miss a very good opportunity, but they will never know. If someone uses "difficult-to-read" font and text speak, other people might read over it as well, and miss your very valuable posts. But changing your appearance slightly, or making things easier for the majority of people, your thoughts, ideas and opinions may be able to reach more people and perhaps influence them in the end :)

Indeed, I think about that as well, Sinergy. But I might as well make some sort of constructive comment regarding the issue at hand. Just because we're all here because of our "lifestyles", doesn't mean everyone does it the same. Yes, we have free speech here, but at the same time, just because some don't mind being (to me) exsessively vulgar, doesn't mean we all have to be that way or to endure others being that way if we don't want to. There are times and places for it, and perhaps there might be an idea in making a section of the boards where people are more free to be as vulgar as they want. And the other places left to be as un-vulgar as they want. Not a hard concept to me....but that's me.

I find chatspeak annoying and lazy as well as incorrectly spelled words. I also hate profile where the text and background are the same or similar colors. I don't understand the purpose of posting graphic stories on the forum. You can most certainly get any question across without getting too graphic. I have read posts where there isn't even a question attached, it is like people think this is Penthouse forum and they wank off while they are posting their fantasies (which they try to sell off as actual experiences).
