Sometimes we tend to get angry at something or someone when we don't always know the full story or perhaps no one offers some kind of reasonable view for us to atleast get an objective view thus creating an incredibly narrow minded reasoning. Here (being a Demon) i will attemp to play 'Devils Advocate', sit with me and tell me whats eating away at you, perhaps we can accomplish something productive. This is NOT an attempt at counselling you but of relieving or lightening your load.

i get pissed me off at myself when i stop myself from voicing my honest opinion because i know that people will not agree with me or get offended... half of me says "Phuck PC", while the other half cares what everyone else thinks

Have you ever tried to re-phrase your words to something more 3rd person so they arent intentionally aimed at a specific person? The aim of any message board or forum is to debate and harvest different ideas, i feel something worse than not voicing your views is to sit in silence...this generally leads to the making of spree killers! I feel the same way as you and on occasions stop myself mid-rant from sending something that i KNOW will cause offence, the only way around it is to free-write then re-read before you send, just changing one or two words can get your point across without inciting or rather being offensive. COME ON MAN SAY WHAT YOU MEAN!

No its quite alright, rant away goddamit!!! I'm sick of my own pic anyways!!! I'm going to take a razor blade and cut various valleys into my face to appear more 'demonic'! ....maybe this should be in the really really bad advice thread....NOW look what you done!

the above post (the need for the edit was planned when i first posted, hehe) was entirely for the purpose of illustrating your point, thanks for the advice/suggestion by the way i have no opinion on your ass, but it does seem to give many ladies some pleasure

I get phed up when someone uses an expression, in this case Devils Advocate, in a way that shows that the meaning is not understood I feel much better now !.

it means to pose the opposing view in a debate in order to allow the other side in the debate to flesh out their side... at least that's how i always took it... now i go to look it up... I just did! A Devils Advocate is someone who plays 'enemy' or rather is the object of your initial 'argument' in order to provide some form of opinion against what your rant or belief is.

Number 2 definition in post 10 is the common usage meaning with the addition that the Devils Advocate usually exposes the weaknesses in or ensures understanding of the opposing view by asking the opposer to express the view opposed to theirs. Got that lol I think therefore I am. Nothing to do with anything, I just threw that in Sepia Ass wants to "help" people who are angry. Some time in the future he may or may not play the Devils Advocate.

Oh im very good at Devil's Advocate because I am objective (when i want to be), mr Sepia Ass here can be very opinionated but also has a broad and open mind, I do feel in my view the only way to go forward if you hit at issue is to argue for and against, if you choose not to listen you can never overcome.

not in reply to the OP, but to the title of the thread: the less than attractive (i speak of attractive in terms of the common ideal) tend to make better lovers and partners, due to a desire to please and appreciation or gratitude that someone has given them something that they have found through experience that they are not worthy of

erm...that would be me then! I am short, ugly and unattractive..not sure if i am a better lover but we have to be, we over compensate, the not so attractive will evolve like many of natures creatures...oh yeah and I agree about the slippers bit!
