He's decided that this duel to the BBQ must happen old style at dawn.

I would appreciate the sirs informing me when this duel will happen enough in advance that I may make sauce for the BBQ.

I try to behave in a way that reflects my deep respect for my Master - I believe my actions speak loudly of who He is and thus I, at times, stop myself from behaving in a rash manner. That said, however, there are situations for which less-than-respectful behavior is appropriate and I respond accordingly.

I try to not judge a Sir or Master based on his sub/slave's actions. Much of one's behavior and intuit toward the world at large is a matter of experience and maturity. Too, if His sub's or slave's behavior is of no worry to Him then it is certainly of no consequence to me relative to the sort of Dom or Master He is. The only Master who matters to me is mine ... and I know what He expects of me (and if it is an incident without precedence to that time, I sure know what He will expect of me if said occurrence repeats).

I TRY not to do this, but I have to admit that I do it. However, what I am able to do is to set it aside until I get to know the couple, if given the chance. I have a good friend who has a brat. It took me a while to get to know her...I like her lots now and can be just as much of a brat. But then, I'm a Master, so it's allowed. :-p

Well KurtKaboom, 
You'd probally encounter me with a submissive SAM type, and it would because I'm one as well.  Her behavior being a reflection of me.  She's my sub, and I'll reel in her ropes if she's gets to far out of line.   Personally, I'll let a sub SAM off at the DOMs who think they rule the world including my sub.  Messing with my sub is like messing with me, and vice versa.  Some SAMs make for vicious pets, when provoked.   I also don't like it when strangers mess with my Dog, and my dog does not like strangers messing with me...  Does this reflect upon my competence at all!! I know it reflects somebody about me...

I do.  I try not to let it affect the long-term decisions I make though---like getting to know the people.  As long as someone is happy and not rude to me, I have no real reason to judge them negatively.

Are you talking long-haul or just a brief meeting? I've learned not to judge anyone too quickly. I've given wanna-be Doms the benefit of the doubt just in case they were having a bad day. I'll overlook bad posts by people on here because everyone can have a bloops! kinda post on occasion. But if you're talking someone you have watched for a year or two on a daily, or at least weekly basis, then yes, I'll make a judgement call on someone. But people can change a lot in a year or two. My initial hypothesis about a relationship could change dramatically based on the changes the relationship goes through.

Right or wrong, I can't deny that I do judge people based on the company they keep if I have no other means of judging.

edited to add: This isn't necessarily bad either. I've judged ownedgirlies Master based on meeting her and seeing her consistant behavior and, though I don't know him, I think she's a hell of a woman, so have judged him to be a hell of a Master to her. ::grins::

Oh christ!  Again this is no different than anything else...and since I don't hang with you all...(I live in a bubble) If I meet someone that is a raving bitch or lunatic...I just wonder what in the fuck is wrong with them!  Then I look at the person they are with and kinda wonder what the fuck is wrong with you!

I thought I had to fart earlier today and pooped a small amount in my pants (Thank god wasn't going commando) does this reflect poorly on my Dominant stature that I failed to control my bowels?
