Ahem. Getting back to the question. My experience was that I found out pretty quickly that my chances of finding a sub on this site were slim to none. And I learned that the pay sites were even worse.
The only pay site that worked for me at all was Adultfriendfinder. It's not a fetish site, rather people looking for sex. A lot of kinky people are on there, though. Still that whole ten men to every woman thing makes it damn difficult.
I enjoy munches and dungeon parties, but they are rarely good sources either as most people who come are either couples or single Doms. Not saying you can't get a hit there, again, just unlikely.
My solution was to go outside the fetish community, and off the online game. Back to basics, as it were. Meeting people in real life (Gasp!). Bookstores are my favorite. Find someone who looks open, and just start chatting. If the chemistry seems to be working, move onto a vanilla realtionship, if I think the potential for kink is there.
Slowly wean them into fetish. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. And it is not exactly a fast process. Still I think it is the best way to finally find what you want as a Dominant.
