I've had the dubious honor.. as we all have.. of someone who you never spoken to or had any contact with on here.. send you an email with an insult, as if they themselves don't live in a glass house. What's the purpose?

Yes I have had that dubious honor long ago, and the insults were run on sentences that I could barely understand. I tried to email him to clarify if he was insulting me or commenting on my profile, but I was blocked[8\|] Also recently there was someone who attacked me and called me a liar on the forums over some stupid thing, and then she emailed me something that I could not even understand telling me that she was in contact with the mods and they had copies of threats.. I do not know what she was talking about... but it takes all kinds

For some, it could be that your picture irritates them, for others it could be that you identify as a dominant female, for others it could be the fact that they've had some bad luck in posting to other femdominants and now, you are the target of all that accumulated venom. Orrrrrrrrrrr...it could be that some folks are just assholes and that kind of mindless blathering spew entertains them "just cuz"...

Your flaw is thinking there is actually a PURPOSE Random insults are usually either one of two things. Someone had a bad day and feels better spewing a bit of venom in a place he knows he cant be reached. The other possibility, they were looking for a rise. DV

We all exist in our own private realities. Some of them are just mangled beyond plausibility. Consider that you might be performing a service, they might otherwise go out in public and do these types of things. Besides, I think a good jacking up would do you some good time to time Lotus! Ron

Some people get off on pissing other people off. ESPECIALLY with the anonymity provided by the internet. It allows them to puff out their chest and thump it in a climate-controlled cyberspace without the risk of getting their clock cleaned. And, they are typically dumb as bricks to boot. I'm curious - was the drive-by email well written, properly spelled, and follow the proper rules of grammar? I would bet that it wasn't.

It's purpose is to let you know that you do not want to have anything to do with that person. They are simply telling you who they are. Nothing more.

I've had a few of those and the sender always blocks lol, cause I just have to check and see if someone sending such to a stranger felt the need to block any attempt at a reply. It makes me laugh when I get one of those and laugh harder when I check and see they've blocked me. Labels them a coward....they can dish it but they can't take it <grinning>.

Then this 'person' (i use that term loosely here) unblocked me long enough to send another funfilled insulting e-mail. i got smart that time, i just ignored and blocked him. As you said, it does take all kinds.
