The only thing that will heal pain is time. Be patient with yourself and don't force anything. Some people can get over these things quicker then others. I wish you the very best in finding someone more suited to you and your needs.

That's just silly.  There's nothing "magical" about a D/s relationship.  Sometimes they are wonderful...sometimes they suck.  Sometimes they work out...sometimes they don't.  He has issues.  He needs to get over them.  If MFM was here, she'd say something like "you can only control your stuff.  He needs to control his."

I don't know why subs get these feelings of not being worthy.  It just didn't work out, that's all.  Some things don't.

I treat it as any other break-up, so hard to let go, knowing that this person ruled your life, was the guiding force and told you what to do. There was a day when you felt lost without your master, and even when you found another one, the original master was on your mind. The one who disciplined you better than anyone else have done....So yeah it takes a while to get over and drives people insane if they're really into the lifestyle.

I did not read all the responses  but here is my take.  If you were not worthy would he have stayed with you for 2 years.  I know this hurts and it is going to for a while i feel for you, but time will help. Also keeping youself busy will  give you less time to dwell on it.  You ARE worthy  don't let anyone tell you different.
