VelvetVixyn -> What Do You FEAR? (3/2/2007 11:13:34 AM)

One of the things I enjoy most is scaring the BEJAYZUZ out of a slave! Convincing them that I've *just* done something potentially fatal (while at the same time, *I* know they're safe!)  My current property, frank, is terrified if knives and of being penetrated. So, of course I play on that terror (and it IS a terror for him) constantly!

he says I'm the only Mistressd who's e ver given him PTSD! *snicker* But of course he keeps crawling back for more!

What would or could a Mistress or Master do to YOU that would turn your very bowels to water? H'mmmm?

Velvet

Abandonment.

Minor details work themselves out.

LuckyAlbatross -> RE: What Do You FEAR? (3/2/2007 11:19:13 AM)

It's more about the attitude than the object itself, though guns lend themselves to it quite easily.  I am afraid of driving and getting lost.  It's certainly possible to set up some good fear scenes on that, but it would take some maneuvering.  Otherwise I'm not really "afraid" of anything that could be used in a fun kinky way- telling me mom died or that he was leaving me might send fear deep into me, but wouldn't leave us fulfilled afterwards.

He could also tell me that Coldstone Creamery had gone out of business.

Well.  have set limites, even playing around with the idea of certain things being done to me or with even in pretend is something we have talked about and he promised not to do them. He doesn't want my fear, he wants my submission. There are those who LOVE this sort of edge play and I can see the appeal. But for me, if it pushed me that far.........the scene would be over and possiably our relationship as well.

MsKatHouston -> RE: What Do You FEAR? (3/2/2007 11:21:24 AM)

Anything to do with bugs.  I can't think of much else that scares me.  Fears are very personal.  Ask some questions in every day situations that may clue you in on his fears.  Snakes, bugs, heights, etc.

That one would scare the beejeebuz out of me too.

Apart from that I'm sorta kinda fearless, I mean there's things I like, things I don't like and things I hate, but none of them really scare me. Does that mean I have a trusting relationship with my Lady? Or does that mean I'm too naieve?

doublechocolate -> RE: What Do You FEAR? (3/2/2007 11:35:02 AM)

zombies.... lol and abandonment.  I think most people fear that though

StellaByStarlite -> RE: What Do You FEAR? (3/2/2007 11:45:36 AM)

Hello. =)

Oh, that's easy.. mummification. Being absolutely unable to move, having every movement completely restricted. Just the thought of that makes my stomach twist in knots. Probably has to do with the fact that I'm claustrophobic as all get out.
Luckily, the Mister isn't into traumatizing his property to the point of panic attack, lol.

cheers,
Stella

Mikal -> RE: What Do You FEAR? (3/2/2007 11:46:51 AM)

Hmmm.... I have to think about this one... I used to be terrified of heights, but a girlfriend convinced me to go tree-top walking with her. Lordy, but that was 'interesting'! [sm=hair.gif] At the end, when I finally convinced myself that I wasn't dead, I decided to join her in skydiving. Now, heights don't bother me... [:)] Bugs used to bother me too, but then I shared a bathroom with muchos cucarachas. I still don't like them, but they don't give me the heebeejeebee's as much.

Other than the personal fears (finding out a loved on died), I can't say I can think of any true fears that I have. Fun fear - rollercoasters. [:D]

redsky -> RE: What Do You FEAR? (3/2/2007 11:50:51 AM)

i am petrified of water, have been since birth apparently... the only other thing that really frightens me is death.

SusanofO -> RE: What Do You FEAR? (3/2/2007 11:51:24 AM)

Knives. Heights. Guns. Biting that breaks the skin. Fire-play if the other person hasn't had enough experience to know if they are playing safely or not. Ditto for Bullwhips. Non-consensual abuse occurring. And if I'd grown extra-attached to someone, abandonment (although this last isn't a huge issue, it's there).

That completely cracked me up.

For me, anything to do with suffocation/breath restriction would be terrifying.

hereyesruponyou -> RE: What Do You FEAR? (3/2/2007 12:01:47 PM)

People scare me

Giving control over to someone who doesn't "get it". Who doesn't think things through and wants to do insane things like suspension using only the breasts....

See, I would *play* with that fear! Krazy Gluer bondage (none of the wrapping, all the immobility!) or hypnosis or something similar.  Actually, Velcro has a great appeal for me... just the sound of the stuff gets me hot! I wonder... am I the only Dominatrix with a Velcro fetish? LMAO!

I am terrified of drowning.

As a child I stepped on a sting ray, lost my footing and then got disorientated.  I have not felt comfortable swimming in the ocean since.

I have also had a dream in which I was drowning... since then playing around in a pool is not fun for me.  The first and only time I went swimming my Lord I was terrified.  My heart started racing, breathing fast and he wasn't even doing anything, but I was terrified that he would push me under the water.

Knight's kyra

LuckyAlbatross -> RE: What Do You FEAR? (3/2/2007 1:48:37 PM)

Ah thanks Kyra, that's an issue for me as well.  Since I have tubes in my ears and am very prone to ear infections- no water is allowed.  I love to swim and do it oftne, I just have to keep my head above the water level.  If some doofus tried to push me under, they'd see my ferocious side come out very quickly.

I can see this sort of thing being used in fear play easily, but I'd wonder if it would be worth the risk of actually getting water into my ears and causing problems.

kyraofMists -> RE: What Do You FEAR? (3/2/2007 1:52:22 PM)

Now that you mention it, when I was 4 I had tubes put in my ears.  I always had to have my ear plugs with me because no water was allowed.  My mom says that I was very adamant about not letting my face get wet without the earplugs.  Wonder if part of the issue started with that and not the incident in the ocean.

I remember that time.... your look was rather priceless and enjoyable... If I recall correctly I had  big grin on my face while we swam.

But there is a very distinct difference between Fear.. and Panic... Fear can be fun... Panic not so much.
