MsCfromMelbourne -> RE: Domme in training (3/2/2007 6:15:26 PM)

chastity, the problem is that a lot of men get their kicks pretending to be women and deceiving us.  No-one likes being fooled, right?

The fact that you only want online mentoring, not real life mentoring, rings alarm bells. Why don't you show up in at your nearest munch or BDSM club in all your XX chromosome glory and just ask for a mentor?

If you are housebound for personal reasons, at least offer to communicate by telephone (and webcam).  Mentoring is hard work - how can I mentor anyone properly by email?

Also you seem kind of cranky in your writing  style (which you might not be in real life of course!) and that is off putting too.

I have visited BDSM communities all over the world including in the USA and there is no BDSM scene anywhere where people are not keen to help pleasant newcomers.

I cant agree more with MsCfromMelbourne.  The people of Melbourne have been great in advice, or just being friends.  Get along to your local scene.  As a result of this i found my Mistress and now we alos attend private parties as well, as we are tonight.

Don't fret, there's a mixed school of thought on profiles. I for one don't put much stock in them. I would not agree that your profile "sucks."

When seeking advice, don't get frazzled when people shoot from the hip. Especially here.

NWDomDommeCpl -> RE: Domme in training (3/3/2007 1:23:21 AM)

Everyone who has replied to the original post has given sound advice to you.
No-one is trying to put you down for wanting to learn.

We all have to start somewhere and if you want the help you say you do ,then why is it no-one can get you to say exactly what the help is you need/want.

Instead of responding with sarcasm and rudeness, accept what We give as polite advice.

You need to give more information to what your needs are.Your asking for help but not giving anyone anything to go on so the right advice can be given.

Have you had any expereince other than online, even if its a small amount?

It seems We are the ones asking the questions instead of you.

Remember you asked Us and not the other way around.Believe it or not We are all trying to help you,but We are not getting a thank you for our efforts.

Mistress Trish

LaTigresse -> RE: Domme in training (3/3/2007 3:16:25 PM)

After reading this thread and your other delightful thread contribution to the collarme forums I am not surprised you feel so terribly victimized.

You see, I am of the mind that you get exactly what you give. With all the negative bitching whining and moaning you've done I think you have gotten off fairly light. Must be a mellow, or really busy, weekend for some of the regular collarme posters.

When I first joined this last summer (I think. I am on hillbilly internet and loading photo's in another window, afraid to open a third) I found the forums here to be a wealth of information and more importantly, really great people. I have learned alot. At my ripe old age of 44almost45, I am real life experience lacking and was hesitant to even begin a new relationship involving BDSM. Afraid that in my ignorance I could cause real harm. On here I have gained a priceless group of friends and aquaintances. People that have experience, real hands on experience. People that are generous in their time and knowledge. People that I look forward to meeting in person if and when the opportunity should arise. And, more importantly people that have encouraged me to take every advantage in pursuing a relationship involving BDSM if given the opportunity with the realization that no one is perfect nor is perfection expected, even in a uber cool dominant woman like me.

It is unfortunate that you have come here with such a shitty attitude because you will not find any of the wonderful things I have described above. You will only find shit because that is what you are projecting.

My best advice to you is to appologise and start anew. Not only will you gain respect for admitting you've been a jerk but might even find what you say you really want.

Where can a domme in training find an online  domme and sub mentor?I can't seem to find anyone willing to advise me online and i' m tired of people  thinking if i ask a question on collarme.com that i'm a scammer . I've tried talking to women in my area  and no luck so what 's the deal with the BDSM community. Is everybody scared around here?

i have to agree - your profile is very unfriendly and as a submissive i would not feel inclined to help you...

but i do know of someone you might want to contact that feels the same as you about collarme and has had what appears - extensive online experience - his name is polyamorous and he does have a slave or two that he might be able to command to assist you as well. Look him up on here - he says he is for real~

Ok, after looking at this thread again, I went back at looked at the OPs profile again, and I must agree with MasterfireMaam, its not a particularly good one.

dougieboy -> RE: Domme in training (3/4/2007 2:23:44 AM)

Dear OP,
I would be happy to to help you with your dilema.  I am an experienced sub in the lifestyle and i'm confident you could learn alot from me.

I require a tribute of $400/hour at first since my time is valuable and i need to know if a Domme in training is serious or not.

Please respond to me with a naked picture of yourself, and I will reply with an address to send the down payment of the tribute.  When we meet in person please don't mention the tribute aloud because it will embarrass me and make me feel like a whore (in a bad way)

Thankyou and I look forward to our future sessions.

ps.  I also have a wishlist at homedepot.com if you want to check it out.  i looooove gifts!   (you have to stand out from the crowd somehow don't you?)

I have to agree with Master Fire on this one.    That profile sucked.

If you cannot find a local trainer in California, you are in sad shape.

Regards,

SCD
