It does add to the fumbling and the awkwardness. It changes how we play, and it leads to limitations I am not used to having. However, I have a huge amount of respect for his self control and his desire to wait. I would never change that about him. (Not to mention there is a good likelyhood I will be the one he is waiting for anyway.. but i didnt say that)
He didnt hide the fact, even before we met. It didnt factor into my decisions with him, it ust changes how things play out now. Or, dont play out as the case may be.

Now for a serious reply to DomminaSmartAss question.

I would accept being with a virgin as well as those not so pure.

Just because somebody has had sex does not mean they are all that and a bag of potatoe chips. Same goes with Virgins.

I look at how well I get along with the person, if I am truely attracted to them and all the other things.

I would want to make certain that the moment and the experience of them loosing their virginity was meaningful and special. That would be that...

For me, I am a virgin at taking somebody elses virginity! So there you go! Would be rather special on a two way street.

Now if there was another reason not to take their virginity, such as a life time supply of jelly beans.. I would have to rethink the whole deal over!! lol

Being forty, it's just natural that I'll find ladies to play with who are close to my age, give or take five years.
