How rude does a Domme have to be before I should report her message?  I politely responded that she frightened me and was too far away, then she emailed me back and demanded I send her my im addy and get on webcam for her.  I said, No thank you again, that she scared me, and then she emailed me back and said as a servant it is not my job to think but to do, and to do it now.  I think that is downright out of line, and emailed back a little less politely, that No, I am not her servant, and to go order someone who wants her orders.  I blocked her, too, but was not sure if that level of persistance should be reported, or just blocked and forgotten??

Meh... I'd report her. But then, I'm not big on doms who think they own you from the get-go.

Sheesh, you are behaving like a 6 year old.  Is this your attempt to get us to beg you to stay?

I don't think she's being all that bad.

Who would you report her to, the Better Bondage Bureau?  Just ignore, block and move on.

(So THAT's what the "BBB" stands for!)

I do not want you to take this wrong..but you do need to toughen up a bit..I understand you are new, and while that is all well and good..being new is like being fresh meat to the piranah out there ready to devour you, especially if they are fresh meat, and definitely naive meat..A person can get only as much power as you give them..Some old and trite words..but highly thought provoking for the new..I may be a submissive...but I am not YOUR submissive..keep this in mind whilst you deal with the piranah....be well....be careful..Tempting

Hello and welcome to the boards. They can be a harsh place at times, but you can get very good advice here. I'm going to give you my two cents also..

You've already heard this first one, in several different permutations.  Comments made to you by people you do not know should not matter to you. These people are nothing in your life. If they have something to say that you like, take it to heart. If you don't like what they say, ignore it. They do not know you. Nothing they say really reflects upon you.

Second, a lot of newer Dominants on this site (as well as some game players and wankers) think that they are behaving the way the submissive wants when they are rude or "commanding" in their mails. Sadly enough, there are enough people who respond to that to keep them going.

Third, when you feed the trolls, you encourage them. The first time you get an email that makes you roll your eyes, read for the ole block button. Do not attempt to work it out with the person or correct their behaviour. The person doesn't matter. Consign them to oblivion and move on.

I wish you luck in your search.

I understand that. I guess I'm just not getting that much from the OP.

To the op. That Domme  was just being honest with you. The rest of these people are just players.

I feel bad to see the way all of these ignorant people have responded to you. It is ashame that they couldn't be more grown up and either give you a helpful reply or not reply at all.  Not everyone on here gets their jollies making fun of others.  Have a good day :)

krikket -> RE: what is enough to warrant reporting a message? (3/11/2007 2:43:12 PM)

i usually reserve reporting an email to one that's threatening, totally vile or if they hit me up for money from more than one profile.  Otherwise i block them, sometimes, other times i keep the connection open just to see how desperate (i.e., funny) they can get.  Once, years ago when the technology was new, i was a victim of cyber stalking.  i'm still not sure how they found my phone number and address, but it was pretty scary at the time.  i changed my nick, but i doubt i'd go that far now.  Now, i'd report them to the police.

Your best defence here on line is a good sense of humor -- it's hard to feel threatened by someone if you're too busy laughing at them..lol.

Good luck...

You should have pretended to be interested and then met.  Then point off to yonder and yell "Holy fuck, Poppa Smurf!!!"  When she turned to look is when you'd stick a shiv in her throat.

Remember for next time, mmkay?
