Within reason, absolutely. It is the strength of will and character that draws me, not a birth year. Having said that, I will add the obvious caveat of the guy in question not being jailbait, and not having other huge drawbacks. Men who are as strong as I, and as intelligent, and possessed of a depraved imagination are fascinating, no matter what age. Frankly, I like younger men. Most of my serious relationships have been with men younger than I.

I am in my early 40s now, and not sure I would have any interest in being with someone way younger. Now if he was within a year or two of me I would keep an open mind. But....being with someone that has two decades of experience, it sure would be hard to be with someone with a lot less experience now. I do realize that someone can learn a lot in 10 yrs as well. So it would really all depend on how he views BDSM and D/s. I am into the mental and emotional connection and the deeply spiritual side of this, not just the play alone. Though don't get me wrong, play is wonderful, but I have a hard time playing casually as my heart is not in it, unless he is there with me.

Well at first I didn't think I would ever be with anyone younger either . Because I have always been attracted to ones older than me, but I tried it once and have been very happy ever since . Master is a few years younger than me but still very mature . In fact when I met him I thought he was older than he is and so do most of our friends . So in my opinion age does not always show maturity level or experience .

I would, and I do. The Kaptin is 9 years, 3 months and 3 weeks younger than I.

Of course!! In fact I prefer it that way. My master is 8 yrs younger than I (but he is more mature I think)... We also look much the same age though, I wear my years well ;)

Most people are raised to respect elders and to teach youngins. As we grow up, most will find it easier to submit to an older person. Anyhow, having a submissive that is older than you is not impossible. Just be yourself, show your maturity as an adult, and you'll both realize that age is just a number rather than a title of control and experience.

The only sub i've had was 7 years older then me. Of course, I was 19 when I met her and in all actuality, I was the one not knowing what I wanted. I guess a difference in age would depend on the ages. Theres a big difference IMO between a relationship involving a 19 and 26 year old, than say a 30 and 37 year old. It's possible as long as both sides know what they want out of a relationship, and the Dom involved is a person of character, of course. No older woman is going to submit to a weak man, older or younger.

I would agree with you on most parts of this except for the last part......its not only older women that wont submit to a weak man, i am only 25 years old and i can smell fear from a mile away and there is no way i would submit to someone who i could smell fear on....

now for the topic, for me i dont find many men my age or younger who know what they want and how to get it....if i could find someone who was strong enough and confident enough then its a possibility but in my experience even in the vanilla world i have always been attracted to older men because they are more likley going to have their shit together but then again i dont want someone old enough to be my grandpa.......for me it all depends on how a person carries them selves that will ultimatly help me decide if i will submit to or date them....

Bastard is 8 years my junior. He did not know it at the time, but initially, I worried that his age would be an issue for me - I had dated people younger them my before, but foudn the relationship to be less then lasting, for all the issues that did not invlude D/s dynamics.

Anyone, even if they are young, can be competent as a Top, and able to take on skills needed to beat someone, or even mess around with their head and also take on the emotional dominant role. But I had issues with the rest of the relationship; there was a big block of missing common ground when it came to discussions. We could not talk politics, sexuality, religion, music, film, literature without discovering thise huge gap resulting from our prospective age brackets.

So, when Bastard and I began talking, I found myself paying little attention to his abilities as a Top, and more attention to his ability to maintain a conversation about life. I was delighted to find that though he was much younger, we was more well-rounded them most other people I had met, with an insatiable lust for information, so even the few times we did find a gap, he was interested in closing it and would actually research things that cropped up that he was less knowledgable in.

It must work for us...we've been together for about 4 years.

However, I have often seen or met older women that just do it for me. Not sure what the turn on is.... but there is a definite arousal factor for older women. choose between a 20 something girl and one that is older than me... I would be more inclined for the older one.

My Master is 7 years younger than I am. I really think it just depends on the people involved and their maturity level and level of confidense, not necessarily their age.

Yup...I would, if I clicked with him. Maybe not an 18 year old, but 10 or 12 years on either side doesn't bother me.

It also doesn't bother me if the Dom has less experience...we all have to learn, and as long as the Dom were willing to learn and willing to respect that I have more experience, why would I deny what could be a pleasurable relationship?

I have been with Tops older and younger than me:) Two of my favorites were both 14 years younger than me. I had tremendous respect for them as men, they " grokked" my psyche, and blew me away. I do not have issue with anyone's actual age, it is about who you are, and what you manifest in me.

I would rather submit to a man close to my age. I would hope that outside of the kink that we could also talk and share life experiences - that is difficult to do when the Dom is much yournger.

I also have a mental thing about submitting to a man who could be my son (meaning around the ages of my sons). Not to say I don't give my son's the respect they have earned - but you sure will not find me kneeling to them or calling them Master.
