over the years this topic has come up numerous times amongst friends . the resounding answer seems to be .

to a certain point BDSM and all its spoilt offspring are not as focused on age and looks as vanilla relationships . the reason for this is simple . we are for want of a better word more or less outcasts in our own right . so it seems most lifestylers BDSMers Players Sceners etc dont like to limit the choices they have any further. we are a small comunity and for us its more important who the person is and what they offer than what they look like or if they are the right age . besides play being as serious as it is relys on experience not age . a 45 year old dom may never have held a crop in his life . just my two cents

Again we are faced with the problem is discriminating age from maturity and experience....

While age can be used as a potential verifier...it is equally likely to be misleading....
