Ok, in reference to what you are saying Aswad, the first part of your argument is dismissable merely by the fact that it is a direct quote. I did not write it, hence it is in quotations. If you go back to the first message that started this thread and read the article provided, I'm sure you'll see that. As for the average Vanilla responce to BDSM, I completely agree. People have told me I am mentally ill when I tell them I would one day like to put suspended upsidedown and tortured... But that's a different story. What I was saying about his mental health was that he is obviously a looney tune. I'm sorry if this offends anyone, but I feel it's pretty damn obvious. People like that need help. They shouldn't be allow to sit infront of a computer and post viral and potentially harmful messages pretending to be someone else. And yes, ok, to those of you who responded to tell me that the information was not exchanged through "her" profile but through messages, proving that the difference between here and IM programs is miniscule, I get it. Stop! I didn't have time to do a lot of background reading, I just took the article at face value without a lot of surrounding information. In reference to your stating that 30 - 50% of the population experience some sort of psychiatric disorder in their lifetime... That may be so, but think about it. Do you know how easy prescription drugs are to obtain? I had a friend walk into a doctor's surgery and fabricate some bullshit story about how she's upset all the time and she came out with a prescription for Prozac AND Lexipro! Two anti-depressants, from one 10 minute visit... That's bullshit. There was nothing wrong with her. It is far too easy to obtain prescription medication these days. The people that genuinely need them and are not attention seeking are few and far between. You have "emo" teenagers in high schools these days, cutting themselves to be "cool" a part of the "in" croud. It's sickening. They go to the doctor and get themselves put on some sort of anti-depressant or mood stablizer and go and tell their friends who feel "sorry" for them and then they whinge about how hard their lives are when they're sitting with a phone, keyboard, etc in their hand, in a 1st world country, with no poverty, with a roof over their heads, whinging about how hard their fucking lives are, while there's people out there starving! Dying! The way the human race acknowledges mental illness has changed a lot in the last 10 years and people nowadays are using it more and more as an excuse to not do things, to have no motivation or direction in their lives or to do things that they know are inappropriate. Maybe I am prejudice toward people with mental illness, but I myself have been on anti-depressants previously and I can tell you they don't work. lol. I can also tell you that a lot of "mental illness" these days is bullshit, fabricated attention seeking. Especially in America. And a lot in Australia because most of us tend to lead by example. It's pathetic. And lastly, I'm nearly finished boring you all to death, don't worry. Lastly, I wasn't really analysing him as a person, there's not enough information about him to do so. But thinking about someone's mental state does have a lot to do with how they act, percieve right from wrong and what they do. If someone is psychotic, which it sounds to me like he is, then they have a greater risk of doing stupid things like Mr Hsu did. His actions were psychotic, inexcusable and down right retarded. We need to get people like that off the damn street. What the fuck is wrong with people these days? Can't we all sit down, listen to APC and start writing "Peace Theory 2007"...
