So, i was at the Cell Block last night, and we talked with a bunch of really nice people and m'Lord was very impressed (have been begging Him to take me there for about a month...He finally decided that we could go). Talking to the owner, He offered me a commission-based job working on the handles of floggers (the handles would be leather, and I would be putting the knots on them [like the ones found here]. He would like to negotiate the commission rate, but the thing is...neither of us have done something of this sort, and don't know what is fair. His slave does one knot in 15 minutes, but she's more experienced. i have done knots of this sort before (Turk's head knots), but am not very experienced. His slave would be teaching me how to make the handles. My question, then, is what do y'all think is a fair commission rate (how much of the sale price i would recieve) for doing the handles. Later, i may also be doing more complicated handles, such as braiding like the ones in the link, and knots on the ends of braided floggers. But for now, it'll just be the knots on the handles, and i'll learn as i go. Any ideas? ~jewel
