Gina is always wearing what looks like a collar of somekind.  It was especially evident in the scene they showed last night with her practicing with Diana Ross.

Status: offline 		Actually i have seen pictures of her not wearing anything on her neck at all. I dont think shes collared. I think she just likes to wear necklaces as do many others with her fashion sense.

Status: offline 		She said one night when Ryan was joking with her for him not to because (insert name here) was there.  She looked a little worried about the whole thing.  I know its the first thing I thought of when I saw her necklace last night, but she is a little more rocky looking anyway, so it might just be a fashion statement.

She is gothic.  Can we not have a show on TV, a person walking down the street, or a shit flushed down the toilet without someone trying to throw a collar on it?

Gothic people wear collars.  Gothic people wear those kinds of clothes.  Gothic people have hairstyles like that, coloring and all.  It has absolutely fuck all to do with BDSM.

Status: offline 		No idea, I'm yet to watch a show.  I find it odd how the winner just sort of seeps out in the second week of casting each time though.

I also wonder what they would do if they actually needed to choose someone for style instead of just a voice with many ranges.
Most successful singers out there don't have voices like that.

Status: offline 		You know, most of the Idols that have won over the years have sold fuck all in the way of albums?  There are only two that have gone on to be a true success story in the recording industry.  These people just are not marketable.  Taylor Hicks..  What the fuck?  The only thing he can do is entertain a bunch of drunken wedding guests.  He has no image to market.

This years female contestants.  The only female contestant they have that has a marketable image is Haley and she is what?  A distant third?  Lakisha has a phenomenal voice, but absolutely no marketable image.  Melinda is the only other contender, and she is a little better.  But still.

Look at Fantasia, Season 3 winner.  Where is she selling albums? To her friends, family and the occasional straggler.  She did not have a marketable image either.

Carrie Underwood.  She has remarkable talent, but she also has *IMAGE*.  You can put her can on a pencil case and sell a million units.

So.  Marketable image sells albums.   Jessica Simpson.  She is completely useless.  But damnit, she has a body that would go the distance, and probably has a million times over.   She sells.  Britney Spears.  Can she even sing?  But she has that slut image that sold a bazillion albums before she completely destroyed her career.

Anyways, you get the idea.
