        For the submissive males out there: Do you, like me, find it more intensive to have a plus size woman to dominate you? While in many wasy I find  slimmer (not super-skinny) women more attractive from an aspect of pure looks,  in the context of BDSM, I prefer someone with a Rubenseque build. Maybe it is because of the dommes I've been with mave been plus size, or maybe there is just something more powerful about them.

I often find that men love the idea of subbing to a woman who can physically dominate them. As a BBW, I am able to force my will not only mentally but with my strength and weight.  Men who truly wish to be controlled rather than just having a fantasy of it can find that fact intoxicating. When a sub looks at me, my physical power is obvious. They know I can force compliance. While there are some smaller or average size women who are able to physically control men by virtue of learning self defense skills, it isn't something you can tell by just looking at them.

I also find a lot of men with the same attitude you have.. that you would prefer an average size woman as a dating partner. Personally, I refuse to play with any man who feels this way. While I firmly believe in preferences (I wasn't interested in dating a man with a penis smaller than 7 inches) I will not allow myself to be used. I feel it is damaging to a person psychologically to involve them self in an intimate relationship where they know that the other person doesn't find them sexually interesting. Before I married, the only men I Dominated were ones who found me interesting on all levels, including my weight or had no preference at all about body size.

i'm just more attracted to larger women in general, aesthetically and sensually... although i like the idea of being physically overpowered, that doesn't really factor into it (at 240lbs myself, it would take a pretty rare woman)

I'm not sure I can really add much to what has been said already, but thought I would chime in anyway.  I prefer larger women in all aspects, both dating and in the bdsm sense, however I should probably add that the idea of dating someone who is completely vanilla and has no interest in bdsm is a deal breaker for me, so maybe I can't actually speak to what I like in a vanilla partner, lol.

I do adore being physically dominated some of the time, but it is such a fine line... I mean I'm sure the Domme's in this thread can attest to this, if you have to hit be every time you want a light bulb screwed in, what's the point?  lol  Sometime I think its the threat that my Domme could easily kick my ass in 30 different ways if she wanted to... but she doesn't have to... its the threat that does it.  Of course, I'm about 6' and 140... so its not that hard to be stronger than me, lol.

I agree with BeachMystress, I do not wish to demoralize myself, by be with someone who cannot accept me for me. It is  one thing to have different tastes. ( I usually prefer big men, no not necessarily big dick men, ethier! ;) It would just be insulting to me if someone I was with wasn't sexually attracted to me.  Back when I considered myself submissive I dated a Dom that I wasn't sexually attracted to, however I liked the way he dommed, and we had emotional chemistry.  However since then being with people that I have both sexual and emotional chemistry with, I won't settle for less then that. Even in a short term session, at a play party.  Maybe I am too picky, but oh well.

Being neither a stick nor a BBW Myself, I'm really just chiming in for the fun of it here.  I just wanted to say that this particular topic made Me smile.  It's always refreshing to hear that beauty in a woman isn't necessarily that cookie cutter image that is blasted at society from the cover magazines.

Yes, everyone has physical preferences, but they shouldn't be the ultimate measure of who the other person is.

If you are attracted to someone with 2 arms and 2 legs and they are in an accident and lose one - does that change who they really are?

Big or small, short or tall, whatever race, color, or creed - look at what's inside first - the outside can change no matter how unlikely (see Michael Jackson LOL)

These types of threads are what really turns me off about the message boards anymore.

Whether subbing or domming I find that my energy connection with the potential partner is the key to something lovely. It has been my experience that women who are substantial citizens have a lot of energy, and many do a lot of giving, whether as dominant or submissive.
When I find a glorious experience with someone, that tends to color their attractiveness very positively.
There certainly are petite women who have much giving energy too, but my impression is that it is more likely that the undersized person has been "hit on" more, is less trusting, and less giving,
I first noticed this as something regularly happening while stationed in a third world country in the service. I did not speak the language, it was dangerous and not very likely for a person to connect with local ladies except on a professional basis. The prices for services rendered were the same most of the time for most of the ladies. However the pin up picture women were not much fun. Their looks got them a lot of business, but you only got the image, the action was no good. Older ladies, more voluptuous ladies, ladies with scars or disabilities, these women often truly got into their work and had a lot of fun doing it. That made the transaction with them a lovely experience.

Of course it will make a difference if someone loses an arm. How will you suspend them with just one arm. How do you tie their hands behind their back. I agree that voluptuous sounds sexier than bbw.

hey, since the topic came up... Everyone do like I've done a few times over the past couple years.  Email the collarme suggestion people and suggest they give us some sort of "minimum weight" filter to go with the "maximum weight" one that is already there!

Ladies, I think I figured this one out. I think he probably finds it easier and more acceptable to be seen in public with an average size woman than be seen in public with a plus size woman. Its easier on his image that way. Unless his Mistress takes him out, he won't be seen with her in a public and won't run the risk of being embarassed.
