Status: offline 		A friend told me. Yes I know it's difficult to imagine but I do have one or two.
He tried to guide me when I first got interested in the lifestyle.
He wasn't right about everything though.
He told me that I had to sexually abuse a sub.
That just didn't sound very dominant to me.
So I decided that I didn't have to do anything.
I am beginning to understand what he meant though lol.

Status: offline 		I was told about this site by a dominant that was a member on Adultfriendfinders of all places.  I checked it out, and was seriously hooked.  I am in awe of all that this site continually offers for free to its members(that number in the hundreds of thousands).

I heard about it from a submissive of mine (now a friend) when I complained about the quality of responses I was getting on alt.com

All of the places listed are pretty much based on the same profile, but the LJ is much more active at the moment. I am actually still on alt.com, but I've never really liked the site at all. I've got a profile that's almost identical to the collarme one at slaveregister, too. I also used to be on AdultFriendFinder, but I was there for dating, not for kink.

I still wish I'd gone for masterfiremaam on myspace. I like continuity. LOL

Status: offline 		Someone in an Alt chatroom told me about it before I became owned.  I joined under my old nick then but did not discover the boards.  Once my Lord and I started our relationship, I mentioned it to him.  He and I joined about the same time and discovered the boards.  He had alandra join soon after that.

Status: offline 		Some folks in a yahoo room were bashing CM saying how it was all fakes and such, so I had to see for myself and they were the ones that needed a reality check. Last I checked the room was overrun by bots on yahoo now so oh well. I also heard about it on a snark community on LJ

Searched on google for free bdsm personal sites. Found this one, and found my Dom
