I disagree...the guy who did the procedure had been working in the medical field for almost 25 years ('76-'99) and probably was better than anyone other than a surgeon.

Status: offline 		Sorry but practicing medicine without a licence is illegal, not to mention dangerous. Its not the actual castration that is a problem in my opinion but the illegalness of practicing without licence. The article doesnt mention any of them being a surgeon, just a physicians assistant.

Status: offline 		I think there is a difference between modifying the body of your slave and modifying the bodies of paying cusomers which is what I understand from the article they were doing, although that is not clearly stated.  No one gets arrested for practicing Vet medicine when they castrate their own cattle or horse, but if they do it as a business it might be a crime.

I also think the judge was out of line in his comments, but I doubt this verdict set any precedents. Living here in Mexico now I know that they wouldn't say a thing about castrating any one but would look at violations of our visa by running a business.

I am trying to remember the name of the politician who pointed out that you are not really a man until you castrate a bull with your teeth.

Not sure what that has to do with anything, but I was rolling on the floor laughing when I read it.

I saw a tv story about that, omg..! they said men tend to want this for their pets more than women. :)  One guy said that it helped with the "guilt" of making his poor dog less manly... was too funny! But at least the are neutering!
