farglebargle -> RE: FBI can listen to cellphones when there turned off! (3/18/2007 6:22:18 PM)

I thought the subject WAS the size of Government? SELF GOVERNMENT is best. Fraternal and Neighborhood Associations ( A.K.A: The Unorganized Militia ) and School Boards are next best, Hamlet, Village, City Government next.

The largest rational unit of Government is the State, which is why the Constitutional Republic has failed just as surely as it's earlier incarnation, and surely as the United Nations it's created.

The Bloated, Out of Control, Unresponsive, Ineffective, Expensive, Wasteful, Neglectful, Incompetent Federal Government IS the cause of more problems than the solve, and in a rational world, we'd save the money, and just tell all those sucking on the Feds Teat to go get real jobs.

Think of it this way. The Federal Constitution says what the Feds are permitted to do. EVERY TIME they do something not on that list, we should all be "WE ARE NOT PAYING FOR THAT. NOPE. FUCK OFF."

We can agree on that to an extent, limited government is best. But with the world being the extremely dangerous place that it is, had we not had a strong Federal government all these years the United States probably would not exist today, and I believe that it is still needed now and into the future. Old man farglebargle with his double barrel shotgun will never hold off the kinds of threats that this nation has faced and will continue to face into the future. The one reason we NEED a strong federal government is to provide for the common defense, and that is the Presidents most important undertaking.

yeh well the common defense of FOREIGN enemies and a federal gov who does NOT have to power to wage war limited or otherwise except by congress and i would extend that to the state legislatures and if i had my way county legislatures too, (after they have been created)  LOL

Who do you think starts these wars in the first place?  We do!  Maybe you should take 10 seconds and do a little research and spend some time getting educated on how its done and why it is done and why the problem is the way it is now.

The feds purpose is to protect the corporations interests and also to stay the fuck out of our lives.  thats it!

Take a few minutes and try googling, the gulf of tonkin, ajax, gladio, mongoose, the uss liberty, northbrook to name only a few of the over 200 black ops that this country was involved in.

ERead about the cia, nsa and their wonderful peacemaking efforts LOL  sarcasm they are the ones that start these wars and convince us it was the other guy!  LOL

Preemptive shoot em first and try them later isnt exactly constitutional you know.

here take a look at how you have been had and continue to be had!  http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-5137330196032136210&q=

The Great State of New York was here BEFORE the united States.

The Great State of New York will be here AFTER the united States.

I'm not worried.

And still I ask the question? Who gives a damn? If you have something to hide, then by all means do so. Other than that, I don't think the Feds have any reason to listen in on my cell phone coversations with my Mom.

Ultimatley, I really don't think our government is interested in spying on people unless they're terrorists or criminals.

and what exactly is the definition of "terrorist"?   according to ashcroft its anyone who proclaims they have rights!!  rights are phantoms now!

If you know then you are the only one in the contry who does.  and as far as criminals go do they have a different constitution than we do? Like we try and convict them before tapping to prove they did it?

Definition of a terrorist? So far muslim males between the ages of 18 - 40.
Now, if I were trying to track down IRA terrorists I'd be looking for white males between the age of 14 to 60 with funny names like Liam, Sean or Kevin.

Ok fine, so the constitution was realy created just for criminals who have something to hide and the "good" people or people with lives that are to boring to be of concern do not need rights?  So since you have nothing to hide or a totally boring life to hell with it who gives a damn may as well just burn it, its worthless to you anyway.

thats funny that not what ashcroft said!

ashcroft said that they consider anyone "professing phantoms of liberties are considered terrorists"  ("meaning claiming their constitutional rights that we *think* we have")    its on a vid that i posted listen for yourself

wait a sec...

oh thought i heard a black heliocopter for a second there.

Tim McVeigh was a Muslim?

Ted Kaczynski was a Muslim?

The Anthrax Mailbomber is a Muslim? You should contact the FBI with that nugget.

RWAble -> RE: FBI can listen to cellphones when there turned off! (3/18/2007 9:29:36 PM)

Yes; the constitution was really(not realy) created for people that believe in the function of government by the people. It has laws that are given to each individual that abide by them. Even though we now have a horses-ass as a president, doesn't give me the right to violate the majority that elected him. I used to listen to my Dad talk about the covert operations of the government. I spent time in Vietnam seeing the covert operations of the government. But bitching about the government, instead of changing it is a lax attitude. If you don't like it, then change it. This is your right. It's called voting.

what have you ever seen change that did not start with bitching?  iposted several links of congress and even down to governmors and petitions for prople to write and sign to make changes but i bet maybe one on this whole site sopied it and might actually do it becuase i think people like being spied on and have no rights, well with a few exceptions and they know who they are!

Sorry not read all the posts, I assume you mean for locating a mobile phone rather than listening. If it worries people so much then just take the battery out. No power, no transmission.

I think the real problem is that no one knows about it.  Then there is the really scary part.  How many people do you hear saying "oh I have nothing to hide so what".

Errrr because it is a violation of our rights?

The problem of course is that we will be constantly hit with more and more invasion of our privacy as i said many pages ago.

Frankly ithink the government will have to start raiding houses before peple wake up because everyone is so intent on being politically correct they need "proof".  Well when the governmnet is rocking themn to sleep at night they will have their proof.

Oh and btw tivo units are the same way,

The futures so dim i gotta hmm wear whatever is bright enough to rhyme with dim.

I have never seen your mother and Osama Bin Laden at the same party.

A coincidence?  I think not.
