Dear myobedience, Ladies and Gentlemen; In my mind's eyes I see 'spanking' is applied with a bare hand or gloved hand. In the Victorian style of spanking, a hair brush, a sole of a slipper was used. Nothing more. The use of a Cane and or rod was in a class by itself in my scene recollections. I also feel that paddles were a more modern remedy to those in the "Spanking" clubs of the 1920's as to keep it proper where a stranger's hand wasn't touching the buttocks of a strange woman. Prudish but, still purpose filled. As for the 'victim' of the spanking, each person approaches spanking in different ways. In my mind's eyes I see, the 'intent' of the spanking makes the entire session of spanking, which in summary forms the 'foundation' for the spankee's mind to embrace. The spankee's emotions are key into the way the spanker applies the strokes, to which adds onto the pre-existing emotions of the spankee. Approximately 11 stroke styles exist, or techniques in which the 'hand' provides sensations. The spanker's mental focus as well as their emotional 'intent', such as; spanking for punishment, maintaining or affirming a slave's 'spirit'/belly/heart, or for total sensation into sensuality and relief. In my experience for sensual spanking, I use a soft hand and a 'skip' stroke, to which warms the skin and gently increases the spankee's tolerances for more discomfort. Disciplinary, there is no warm up and I use a firm, solid and hard hand stroke. That said, the spanking sessions I do, is not limited to the buttocks alone. I do spank genitals (which includes women's breasts and male breasts if they have shape that is not considered 'flat chested'), which is straight on or upwards stroke, against the gravity of the genitals. To go in the direction of the normal hanging position of the genitals can/may tear the genital tissues that connect to the muscle walls, especially if done in a prolonged manner. Each spanking session really depends on the spankee's ability to maintain the ability to process the strokes of the spanking. Sometimes, it is the skin and or body of the spankee that regulates when the Spanker is to stop. Boundaries of what the spankee can carry as far as marks, blood blisters, abrasions and the like should be settled before the spanking session begins. Some skin types don't take long to turn colors into massive blood red and blue bruises. I would also urge spankers to remove their hand jewelery prior to spanking, as to avoid injuring the spankee, especially if they are to spank the spankee's genital areas and even more cause to remove jewelery, if the spankee has genital piercings, as not to get caught and rip. Just some thoughts. Respectfully submitted for consideration, Lady Hugs
