It's quite possible that they just never check their collarme mail. I don't check mine as often as I should.

I don't wish to monopolize the thread from a male point of view, and this is a sorta hijack......

Up until right around the time they put the 'Who's viewing me' button, whenever I got email here (on CM), it would send an email to my ordinary AOL account.  No longer.

I always come to the forums through CM, so I'm certain to 'notice' email, but it was nice to know that if I weren't paying attention to the forums to know that I was still getting email.  No longer.

Wah!

Jeff

I'm still getting notices through yahoo mail. Maybe it's AOL?

I still get notices via email that there are messages waiting for me here. It's often a nice surprise to see a message is here for me.

check your setting here and at AOL/AIM.....I am still getting notices at yahoo as well, also check your bulk/junk mail folder there, it could be going to that for whatever reason.  Just a suggestion take it for what it is worth.

give it 3 days to a week and if no reply then move forward, dust yourself off, and get back up on the horse so to speak and weed through those that are not your ideal Dom.

I don't see the point of waiting any amount of time for a person to respond. Until you have a commitment to someone, there isn't a reason to remain apart. Maybe I'm reading your post wrong but it seems like you are trying to establish some sort of loyalty with a stranger who may or may not extend the same courtesy to you.

It happens alot unfortunately and usually it's those that ignore the emails they get that complain that no one responds to the e-mails they send, or that no one e-mails them at all *shruggs*

Oddest one I had lately was a Gnt that messaged me first, said he liked my profile would like to chat more. SO I read his profile, agreed that we matched on alot of areas so wrote back saying yes I liked his profile to and would like to caht more as well.

LOL well he read my response a couple minutes after I sent it, and I haven't heard from him since. Maybe I wasn't subby enough when i responded lol

I figure it takes all kinds and it better to find out early on if someone is not compatible. Sometimes it's the first message that proves that *S*

Someone told me recently, some people only fish at times  to know they CAN get a reply from the other side.
I am one that whines about getting no replies.  I truly believe it is only curteous.  But then I guess I am old fashion,  from what I read.

I have also been on phone with a few that told me they never did read my email or ever received it when I wrote and saw they opened it.  Maybe its a CM thing.

Sometimes i go through all my emails first, then begin to answer them, with the ones that are most urgent first. There have been one or two that fall through the cracks so to speak, and it is not until i go back and reread everything to dispose of it, that i find a really good email i did not respond to.

If someone doesn't respond, and you are truly interested, i would wait a week or so and write again. They may be bombarded, and your email is no longer on the page they see when they log into their mail, or they may have been distracted by real time life.

i say if they appear to be a "good one", don't let 'em get away!  :D
