I would hope that this doesnt end up a paysite as many appear to be unable to afford to pay for it. The thing is I believe it to be very expensive to maintain a site like this.

I have found this entirely amusing.

Do any of you get any fresh air? Maybe that would help with your weight problems. And, maybe getting a part-time job would help with your financial problems, as indicated by more than one of you.

Frankly, I have better uses for my time than to talk to (what?) four people who live their lives in this forum.

Just because I have a day off and chose to spend it discussing and debating with people doesnt' mean that I don't have a life or that I never get out.

Not that it's any of your business, but I spent quite a bit of time outside today, working on our lawn and walking the dog.

As for you having better uses for your time - why don't you try expanding your mind a little instead of assuming that all people fit into YOUR idea of what people should be.

LdyAuburn, I don't think the OP took into consideration the fact that this site has members literally all over the world; if payment had to be made in US dollars that might make it even more difficult for some. That is a logistic problem that I believe was part of the reasons a couple of vanilla sites I used to go to went belly up, besides people just not paying.

There IS the thingy at the top of the page to make a donation towards the maintenance of this site; kind of like public radio, one can donate what they can afford if they wish to.

SweetDommes, that sounds like a nice day compared to mine! I had a 110 mile round trip to a rehearsal in the afternoon and then straight to a concert closer to home tonight (sheesh, the Chicagoland area is so damn spread out!).

I hope you can have a fun day tomorrow; I'll be giving a lesson in the morning, then that 110 mile roundtrip for another rehearsal and a concert, then another 150 mile roundtrip for a rehearsal in the evening.

Thank goodness for Hondas and NPR! LOL

As for me... I am going to create a fake female Domme profile... Scream at people and rant and whine in the journal (since you all seem to excuse that behavior).

And you know what? I'm going to ask for money, from the men.

I'll attach a fake picture, from one of the other Domme profiles here, and tell men to "tribute" me. Woo-hoo! It'll be like fighting city hall!! :)

LOL That's not the problem! The Chicagoland area is HUGE, I was amazed when I moved here. There's plenty to do here but it entails a lot of car time, with I might add traffic that I (a born and bred NY'er) think makes NY look like a kiddie ride!

Nah, what really sucks is that my Master/husband lives near Cincinnati, and while I've essentially moved there, 99% of my work is still in Chicago. But what the heck is another five hours in the car and another tank of gasoline? I COULD spend the time driving getting a part-time job I suppose, but unfortunately part-time cellists aren't in big demand anywhere, and flippin' burgers is not my thing LOL
