1. I live about an hour away from the closest major city but if we are looking for something specific we shop in town

2.Mmmm, no well at least I don't Rob however does, he will ask the most embarrasing questions! Put him and Knight together with toys and there is not much not asked.

3.I've never really gone shopping in a store for bondage gear, most of what has been used on me was hand made or a handy prevertable.

4.No, I'm to busy either blushing or drooling over the leather

5.Magazines, maybe would depend on what was in it. Books, can never have enough books *s* but we both prefer books writen more in tune with the psychological aspects of BDSM/relationships and interactions than the 'how-to' ones

6. As long as it's not a vibrator *s* those things stay IN the bag and out of sight, everything else yes. I'm a very tactile person, I do that when we buy just every day items. I take them out, take the tags off etc while not even out of the parking lot

7. I shop on ebay but haven't made any kinky-ish purchases online before.

9 Make my own, for the most part. Alandra has tought me how to make my own floggers and such, I'm not allowed to use a power drill without approved super vision tho *s* put a drill bit through your finger once and no one forgets! I have had a few peices given to me or made for me.

10. I'm a terrible shopper, Rob is usually the one encouraging me to buy clothes or toys for myself. I'm a pretty open person but when it comes to Adult stores, forget it, for some reason I just stand and blush then run for the exit as soon as I can. However, get me in a book store and I can stay for hours and have no problem spending money there.

Bonus question answer: I haven't bought anything but the last toy given to me was a spectacular cat-o-nine tails that can take off skin and leaves the most deliscious bruises *s*

Ok I now have to revise my bonus question answer because in the last 24 hours i've gone out and bought two more toys! See what this thread has done to me...turned me into a toy whore!!! (That IS a good thing right??)

Picked up a leather ball stretcher that can be locked up and a prostrate massager that looks VERY wicked and can't wait to use either.;)

Well, Master recently took on another sub female however, she lives a bit of distance away. Hell, I'll shop in a store or online. I've actually been waited on by women while

1. Not much around here but the stores for 'nilla couples looking to get a bit wild

2. I have no problem being noticed. I like freaking out the middle aged men in the dirty movie section

3. There are usually one or two others

4. Nope. The middle aged nervous guys all looked straight and married

5. Depends on the day, my mood and my wallet

6. I generally wait until I get home

7. Much better selection, and I don't have to deal with sticky floors

8. Yes, and it was great

9. I don't buy a lot of toys due to not having anyone to play with.

10. Shop around before you buy, watch for sales and clearance, and get what you think you will like

I'm really kind of a down-low'er. I hit up Dreamers (I love their stuff), sometimes with the hubby...but only at night. Later a night. I know too many people that DON'T know about my life that pass by that way. So much for Austin being such a huge city. Never ordered anything online, but the hub has--and he's bought me something that he won't share. We'll see!

It’s a mystery to me how everyone does their shopping for toys…

1) Do you shop in your own hometown or travel a bit down the road?

Both - depends what I am after.

2) Do you start a conversation with the patrons in the store? Would you continue a conversation on how a toy works or operates with a clerk or patron or were you prefer not to be noticed?

Conversation ALWAYS, but then the ones I am regular at know me, or otherwise, I just chat. Doesn't have to be about the toy, could be about the weather. And lacing oneself into a corset is never a good option...

3) Are you usually the only one in the bondage section?

Not usually, but on rare occasions it does empty when I approach the section, depending on the store (sniffs herself

) But that is just other peoples embarressment at being seen looking at articles. Plus they are probably scared I will start up a conversation with them...

4) Do you ever try to guess other people’s sexual orientations by the section they are in?

No.

5) Would you most likely buy, paper, video or implement?

Implement, clothing or paper. Videos are easier to download than bother spending money on DVD.

6) Do you open the product immediately when reaching the car, even though you just seen it minutes before?

No.

7) If you shop online, what are the reasons you choose to do so?

Usually because it's cheaper online or I cannot buy it from the store. Corsets aren't always in stock in stores. And when I bought Magic Wand, it was over £50 cheaper to get it sent from the states and get an adapter than to buy a converted Brit one.

8) Have you ever had to send something back because it was broken? If so, how was the customer service?

Nope never had to.

9) Do you not buy any toys and prefer to make your own?

Both.

10) Any more areas of shopping with points to ponder?

It's fun going in as a couple.

What is the last toy you bought?

Sheepskin glove. Or a fan - if you view that as a toy - I certainly do...
