I thank you all for your advice.. as for something in my moms life that would cause this... she is going in for sergery this comeing month and yes that has made her a bit on edge and that may be effecting how she relates to me.

I can tell you that this probably has a lot to do with it.  I don't know what her situation is or how serious the surgery, but you face a lot of things leading up to surgery, especially if you think cancer is involved.  It is a distracting, uneasy thing to go through.
