He passed the current Bankruptcy laws. I know this is off-topic, but why don't you like the bankruptcy law? I don't know much about it. DC, The new bankruptcy law doesn't allow you to discharge credit card debt. Many card card company's (banks) have very VERY predatory practices designed to suck people in. Some of their tactics are simply beyond reprehensible. Now, when they trick you, you can't discharge the debt through bankruptcy. You have to carry it forward. For many people, this is tantamount to financial slavery. You'll get both sides of the issue. Aren't people responsibile for the debt that they incurr? Yes. But many credit card company's will not only willingly pay your way to hell, they will actively encourage you to jump into the fires. At one time, there was a risk to them, in playing that game. You burn someone enough, they ended up in bankruptcy and discharged the debt. Now, they own you for eternity. FirmKY PS. Don't get me started on insurance companies, either. Another industry that deserves a nuke up their collective asses.
