I often attend parties without a single toy other than my mind and my body. Some of my hottest scenes were done without a single toy but then again my favorite playground is the mind after all.

I do have a modest implement case with rope and some sensation toys as well as a few things I haven't seen mentioned.

4" bright red pvc ribbon. It has no adhesive but sticks to itself and is like wrapping someone in latex.
earplugs
A beautiful fan made up of peacock feathers, anything from cooling a sweaty body to rather intense tickling.
Miniature clothespins I found somewhere, very evil
Tarp clamps, these are about 1" wide and when clamped to a labia they don't let go
Soft chenille blanket for aftercare

Many have listed a riding crop but to me, it is almost and entire toybag in one. It can be used as a leash, with the leather tab held in someone's mouth. The butt end makes a small insertible. It can be used as a gag or even a ridding bit. Using the butt end as an impact toy changes the sensation from stingy to very deeply thuddy. The tip can be quite sensuous as it is dragged over the skin of a bound submissive and with a deft touch can invoke some rather intense sensations if fluttered over a widely spread cunt.

having personal floggers was an idea I gained from another Dominant awhile back.... For him it was a question of safety with regards to body fuilds etc. Like me, he played with mulitple partners and each partner had there own toys or he used toys that he could clean.
Thou this is a motivating factor in some cases.. this isn't the issue between these three girls. Since between My House, Rob and Denika we are fluid bonded. It reflects a trust that exist between the five of us and the depth of our friendship.

However, as much as that is part of a motivating factor for me in some situations.. it is even more so an emotional issue as well. The toys the girls have are toys they have actually made for themselves and they also know it's for them and only them. Well almost... I do use alandra's and kyra's floggers on each other. This demonstrates the bonding that exists between the two of them that is special and unqiue.

Focus on the toy box is a slippery slope... Some focus on it so much that they loose sight of the reason for playing and where the good play actually orginates (the Mind as Micheal implied). Being able to use create fun and enjoyable play should not be dependent on the size of one's toy box or a specific toy. We might have preferences to a toy or certain toys... but... stretching oneself out of the box can be a very good thing. It's something I particularly like to do over the course of time. A few years ago I was at a friends place enjoying a popsicle. I finished it and at a spontanous moment ended up playing with his slave with just that popsicle stick for about 30 minutes. It's rather amazing how much you can torment a person with just a popsicle stick. I can't walk in a store without looking around for things to pervert. Finding something and trying it is part of the enjoyment to my play. To me the focus is having fun and not what is in the toy box.... but because I have been doig this awhile.. the toy box has become rather large.

Hmmm, most of my toys are things that I've made myself. Plenty of floggers, singletails, paddles, hoods, all kinds of restraints. Knives, razors, a few benches and crosses. A couple of rubber whips and floggers. Straight jacket, (a really soft leather one). bondage tape, industrial wrapping for large bondage. That works great. It comes in 100 foot rolls so you can do a total body wrap. I do agree that the mind is the first place to start any scene.
Also a well stocked first aide kit with shears for quick cutting if needed.
various lenghts of rope and chains. Some nice candles for wax play. I also have a small crock pot for heating wax, it works better when doing a large wax play scene. You don't have to wait for it to drip......drip.....drip. lol
a nice soft paint brush works great with that item. A few small branding irons. Those are a few of my implements.
